Port of Koper - Slovenia. After days of cycling on the snow in Europe, finally the sun showed up on the horizon of the Adriatic sea. Nothing like contemplating the golden hour while seeing the boats disappear on the distance.
Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #87 - winner announcement!
@worldcapture Asian Sunday entry:
Mount Everest, Nepal. About 1 month ago I took a airplane which circled around the Himalayan mountains including the Mt. Everest. It was by far my most exciting flight and I still can't find the right words to describe this stunning mountain landscape. Breathtaking!
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Australian Monday week #87 – winner announcement!
@snowyknight Australian Monday entry:
Arthurs Pass New Zealand. Here is a shot looking down on Arthurs Pass in New Zealand (NZ), the best part of the Australian Continent. As you can see there are big beautiful mountains including that bad boy Mt Rolliston in the Background. See the road way down below? Hope you enjoy this view as much as I enjoyed getting to it!
@bluebottlefilms Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans entry:
The clarity of the water at my local marine sanctuary is amazing at the moment. I love it when the conditions are like this and have been getting down there as much as possible. The northern beaches of Sydney are so lucky to have Cabbage Tree Bay on it's doorstep!
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - African Wednesday week #87 - winner announcement!
@vcclothing African Wednesday entry:
When on safari in Etosha Namibia, water holes are always the place to see wildlife. It is a very dry area and not much water around. Here we saw some ostrich and springbok hanging out and having a drink at a water hole.

Situated on the Golden Square in the heart of Monte Carlo, Hotel de Paris is very close to the Place du Casino. Built in 1864 Hotel de Paris still stands and today offers unforgettable luxurious experience to its worldwide guests. If you search for absolute comfort and luxury when you are visiting Monaco then this is your hotel.
Line of houses in the center of Barcelona, Spain. You can also see the famous Casa Batlló House here - one of the city´s iconic landmarks designed by Antoni Gaudí. The local name for the building is Casa del Ossos (House of Bones) as it has a visceral, skeletal organic quality.
One of my favourite cities in the world!
Oh yeah, Barca is cool :)
Photo of the Grand Canal (Canal Grande in Italian) in Venice, taken near Rialto Bridge. This is the main water curse of the city, where the most impressive palaces are located. In the image you can see the gondolas crossing the canal.
Blutenburg Castle is a small castle in Munich. On some days I like to go for a walk there. In good weather you can lie on the large meadow and listen to nature. At the blue hour I like the place best.
Wow, amazing scenery. Btw I think your chances of being featured in the Indigo Saturday are pretty high here :)
Sure thing:)
Thank you so much 😊

One of the iconic views of London: London Bridge! And of course, with the typical english weather on the background! THe rain was making it difficult to get a decent photo, but fortunately ended up giving me a break for sightseeing and getting a few photo souvenirs.
The good ole English weather!
Sleeping Yachts
Early deep colors morning at Malta. Shot just from the balcony of our hotel room, though still with tripod to get enough long exposure fro available morning light
Nice bay composition with few yachts making final view much more interesting
Enjoy the scenery!

The photo was taken on my phone. Russia, Moscow, with "Soaring Bridge" in the park "Zaryadye".
A new observation deck in Moscow - in terms of resembles the letter "V" of the Latin alphabet.
During the construction of the observation deck, not a single outrigger support was used - the bridge, indeed, “hovers” above the ground.

The beautiful Italian monastery, the Santuario di San Luca with the great city of Bologna in the background. A wonderful place to visit for food, culture and history. The Italian countryside and architecture never fails to impress.
From my blog post today.
I was there last march, the walk under the arch and the view from the top was special but the sanctuary itself was a little disappointing.
Yeah, I get what you mean. Great walk, not much to do at the top, but great for space to fly a drone :)

One more entry from Greece and Koufonisia islands, a small paradise of the Aegean sea, ideal for relaxing vacations enjoying the sea, the sun and the good food! The picture is from the main settlement and the port during dusk. A magical place during a magical hour!
I hope you like it :)
Slovenia is a beautiful county and it is a hidden gem, so it needs to be promoted. That is why I am sharing one of many beautiful sights from my homeland.
This is Savica waterfall in Gorenjska region.

Italian alpine lake near the border between Switzerland, Austria and Italy. When we arrived at this beautiful lake, there were no tourists. We didn't understand it until the morning when we got into the water. The water was really cold.
LOCATION: Lago di Resia (Rechsensee)
The lake is famous for its protruding tower from a flooded church from 14 th century.
Beautiful mirroring! Great photo @ajven!
Ancient Rome, Rome, Italy
It's a miracle. In the center of the capital of Italy uninhabited space remained more than 1,500 years. Just because of this, the building monuments were preserved.
Apart from tourists and art lovers, Italy is also a paradise for archaeologists.
The docks of Koper
After days of rain the sky was still gray and the streets were still wet; that all represented the perfect timing for a walk by the docks of Koper.
Another classic today. The Rome Colosseum is a must-see tourist monument. You can not go to Rome and not see it, and you did not see Italy if you don’t make a stop in Rome. So much history is that city alone. The Colosseum as been use in different flavor over the years but movies about gladiator fights are sure making it hard to believe it was once a religious site as well.
When in Rome you do as the Romans does, and that includes visiting the Rome Colsseum. I had no idea it was so gignatic. Normally we see the exterior photos and the many arches which doesn't seem that massive. Yet the moment I stepped inside it totally blew me a way. We are so small compared to our ancestors two thousand years ago.
Awesome
