However, the winner is only one and that is for me picture posted by @ansharphoto with the following entry:

Two Towers, Bologna. This part of the city, built when Bologna was at the peak of its power and wealth, was once dotted with towers. In fact, one of Bologna’s many affectionate nicknames is “la turrita,” or the “city of many towers.” There were once hundreds of towers in the city; some were built for defensive purposes and many others built by powerful families, continually attempting to one-up each other.

Gampong Jawa Is one of the places where fishermen do the activity of pulling nets. This location is also a place for photographers to look for the moment. How not, the sea which is 3km away from the center of Banda Aceh city and also facing directly with the Indian Ocean offers a million enchanting natural beauty.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday week #34 – winner announcement!

@jpphotography African Wednesday entry:

Sunrise in the Sahara. The sand dunes of the Moroccan Sahara are an amazing sight. The huge amounts of piled sand are everything but boring, since the strong winds and the sun constantly change the patterns and colours of the dunes.

So Bologna was the first city to over-do it with the 'skyscrapers', I guess? :D I don't know what it is about Italians but I'm fairly sure that tower on the right is leaning. Isn't the leaning tower of Pisa enough for a nation?

The other photo I've not seen before - the African Wednesday one - is also pretty stunning. I'd love to visit the great deserts of the world but get lost and that could quite easily be the last sunrise you get to see. I underestimate the strength of the UK sun half the time. What chance would I have in the Sahara!

A huge congratulations brother for winning <3

What a great photo!! I was there a few months ago and it's really difficult to capture the full effect of the twin towers as there isn't a lot of space around it and its always crowded with people and traffic. Of course, my rubbish photo skills had a big part to play!!

These are some breathtaking photographs mate. All the photographs of all the entries are good. Congratulations to the winner though

This is a good idea
