Hello fellow steemians!

Your entries need to be submitted by the midnight of Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only one picture to be submitted for a daily photo challenge. The rule number one is to use only personal images. Ten winning photos will receive an upvote from me from which I will pick one winner that will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts.

The winner of daily challenge then competes against winners from other continental challenges of the respective week to receive the price of 15 SBD. That will be decided by you based on the dollar value of upvotes of my winning post announcement. The winning weekly picture then automatically enters other rounds for the price of 150 SBD in total.

Please see the winner of Asian Sunday, Australian Monday, Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans and African Wednesday to give them your support if you like their image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #14 - winner announcement!

@randypike Asian Sunday entry:

In this photo i going to show you the impressive Singapore Skyline from a different perspective. Beginning on the left side, you'll see the Marina Bay Sands Hotel with his Shopping center, followed by the Singapore Flyer and the ArtScience Museum. And finally on the right side by the water front, the Formula One Pit Building. This photo was taken from the Benjamin Sheares Bridge.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Australian Monday week #14 – winner announcement!

@jh3n Australian Monday entry:

This year I spent nearly 10 months traveling around Australia exploring and discovering places I have never thought existed. This self-timed shot wasn't the easiest photo I've taken, the tripod was sitting on the tiny ledge of the walls with water flowing underneath.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Tuesday of Antarctica and the world’s oceans week #14 – winner announcement!

@justdentist Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans entry:

Calm and dangerous - The world's oceans

Many people work "on the water" - Fishermen, workers on drilling islands, marines, crewmembers of cruiseships. The work can be wonderful but also pretty dangerous in some situations. The images shows the peaceful sunrise on the Ijesselmeer in the Netherlands.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday week #14 – winner announcement!

@mibreit-photo African Wednesday entry:

I took this photo five years ago on La Digue, one of the Seychelle islands a little north-east of Madagascar in the midst of the indian ocean. It's a wonderful little island with many beautiful little beaches. This here is Anse Source D'Argent, which is maybe one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

I can't wait to return there in two months :-)

Les Grands Montets is a mountain in the Mont Blanc range of the French Alps near Chamonix, France. This photo was taken at the 3260 meter station. Surprisingly, when the sun came out, the temperature wasn't nearly as cold as the photo might make you think. And the view from here really was incredible!

Really sick shot Matt! Chapeau!

Beautiful shot Matt, thank you for your participation. Tomas

Another stormy sunset at Baltic Sea, nearby Klaipeda, Lithuania. My usual location for a shooting, but this time was quite lucky to get some interesting piece of wood ashore, which visually was quite similar to some kind of a fish...
Stormy sky and long exposure did the trick.

Enjoy the scenery!

What an awesome sky!

Absolutely splendid! Thank you so much for that.

I was lucky enough to take this picture early in the morning on the beginning of my hike to the top of Piz Gloria in Switzerland. This trail is home of over 100 waterfalls, which I only counted 7, but was still magnificent in its own ways.

Thank you so much for your great entry. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement. Tomas

Once i had the idea to go hiking in the Alps. Its easy to say, but Alps are big and it was a big challenge to find desired place. And now I say "thank you GoogleMaps" ! Yes - I was just scrolling 3D map by searching rocky, nice and free of ski lifts place.
And I succeed ! Now I can give strong recommendation to visit this place. In a midle of the map you can see the black dot. Its ia a Mödlinger Hütte. Very heart warming place. And by this link you'll find a perfect hiking advisor.

Wow, splendind image! Stay tuned for the winner announcement coming soon. Tomas

Thank you. I will :)

I'll drop in a photo from London here. It took me three visits to finally get some decent light. As quite usual for England, I got plenty of rain and grey skies on my first visits.

But on this particular evening I was lucky. Dark rain clouds rolled in just for sunset and were illuminated in intense red colors. I had setup my camera at Westminster Bridge, looking towards Big Ben, which was the perfect viewpoint that evening.

Beautiful image:) Thanks for sharing it with us.

That is some serious image! Thank you so much for your participation. Tomas

received_1810322965933300.jpeg Lake Bled and island in Slovenia. Bled was choosen several times to be one of the most charming places in the world. Many magazines, travel sites or tv stations considered Bled to be in top 10 or top 5 most charming places.

Really peaceful image:)

Great shot! I just love that place. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming soon. Tomas

Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 2013. Photo taken on a cold January day. I believe this was on De Dam. There were many people but I was still able to isolate this horse and carriage for this picture.

Something little different. I like it, thank you so much for participating. Tomas

Thanks for the upvote!

In September 2016, I made a short vacation in the Salzkammergut in Austria and took some nice photographs at this time.
On this photo I'll show you the valley around the Lake Wolfgang in Austria. The lake Wolfgang is located in the Salzkammergut in the state of Salzburg, in Upper Austria. We took the Zwölferhorn Mountain Cable Car in St. Gilgen to enjoy this amazing view. The Salzkammergut is a paradise for hikers and photographers.

wow, splendid image! Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement. Tomas

A view of sunset I have never experienced before. This is Oia village in Santorini, Greece situated on top of a cliff. Probably the most photographed place in Santorini. So many tourists gather here during Sunset to just get a view of this magical sunset across the white and blue domed houses. The most recognized building in Oia is the old windmill which often appears on postcards.

Wow, beautiful image! Please stay tuned for the winner announcement. Tomas

Lake Annecy.jpg

After welcoming the New Year in Paris with good friends, we flew to Geneva where we based ourselves for a week to explore the Alps and nearby towns. This was taken at Lake Annecy in France during the golden hour.

Beautiful Image! Great entry. Thank you so much for that. Tomas

TV Tower in Berlin, the German capital

I haven't posted a photo from Germany so far. This image shows the Berlin TV Tower, which was illuminated in a bright green, when we visited back in 2012. You can go up with the tower by elevator, enjoy the view and even drink a coffee or eat up there. The queues are quite long most of the time, so be prepared to wait or buy tickets in advance.

We took this photo while traveling in Edinburgh. Just right in the middle of the city you see this massive park where people were just enjoying themselves and taking in the great weather around them.

Photo of Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom), an impressive Gothic cathedral of Northern Europe . Until the middle of the XIX century it was consider the highest building in the world. In the foreground of the image there is the railway bridge over the Rhine River.

The Eiffel Tower on an unusual day, literally a minute after I took this photo I was pelted with hail stones from the heavens. It was a decent run to get to cover, but eventually I got there.

Three years ago a lot of snow fell on my village in Germany. Since my early childhood, I have been enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Black Forest. The view you can enjoy here is captured from the road I used to cycle on every day on my way to high school.

I spent a few days in London last year and here is a picture of Tower bridge which is commonly confused with the London bridge which is actually to the left of me in this picture. It is a lot less spectacular than this one.

Lighthouse on the Europe point – the southern point of Gibraltar.
On the background you can see the Strait of Gibraltar, where waters of the Mediterranean Sea flow into the Atlantic Ocean. And Gibraltar itself is very interesting for visit – it has some UK symbols like Victorian post box, some famous red phone booths, one of the most extraordinary airports in the whole world and of course cute monkeys on the Rock!

Hey Tomas, hope you had a wonderful Christmas :)

Here is a picture I took a few days ago:
"This marvelous view is what you get when you decide to go skiing in the Austrian Alps at a sunny day. Being able to do sports in such a magical environment is a huge present from nature - a thing we all should honor!"

If you want to see more, I also will drop this panorama picture from above there (Please rightclick and open in a new tab to enjoy it's size!):

The Hungarian Parliament - a real jewel by the river Danube

This magnificent building is one of the most impressive architectural landmarks in Budapest, designed by the same architect as the parliament in London. This picture was taken from a boat during a cruise in the river!

View of the Monaco harbor, September 2015. With a total area of just 2 sq km, Monaco is the second smallest country in the world (after Vatican) but it still has a lot to offer. The city-state is incredibly clean and beautiful but also unusualy expensive.

This is one of usual, but beautiful landscapes in Menorca (Balearic islands, Spain). The picture has a small secret - if one is attentive, he/she can notice three sheep resting on the rock. It was a surprise to see them there - how smart they are to get in such places!

Sotavento Beach

Probably the biggest Beach on the Canarian Island of Fuerteventura. As the name says it already, Fuerteventura is quite windy, thats why this Beach is very popular for Windsurfing.

IMG_0628.jpg

Really cool image. I bet there are many kitesurfers as well!

thanks @justdentist. saw photos online with hundreds of surfers. however I can't see any on mine! 😂 guess it was the wrong time of the year

Might have been that way. Or the wind was dying for a couple of days. Spend 10 days in Tarifa and we just had wind for 4-5 days. You never know what the "precious" wind will do 😜

Rhodes, Temple of Athena and the village of Lindos

IMAG2178 (2).jpg

This shot was captured during my roadtrip around the island of Rhodes. I went to visit the village of Lindos but the parking spots were limited, so the car had to be left quite far. Luckily there was this nice cliff nearby from where I was able to get a full view of this beautiful Mediterranean village with the temple and capture it all in this picture. Hope you enjoy the view.
