Hello fellow Steemians!

Only use of personal images will be accepted and the best 10 posts will get my upvote. I will then pick the best picture of that day that I will highlight in the separate post next day to bring the winner some extra publicity and personally visit the blog of that Steemian and upvote his/her most recent post. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically be entered into other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. So far I have given out approximately $2100 in upvotes and 315 SBD in rewards.

This is a favorite memory of mine from almost 9 years ago. This is a sunrise in Muscat, Oman after spending the night sleeping under the stars. It was so wonderfully warm for a pleasant night's sleep. I loved my visit to Oman, from the architecture to the people to the incredible natural beauty. I just wish I took more photos!

Great pic Matt! Thank you so much for your support.

It happened in Thailand, in the Andaman Sea. At the very end of the dive I saw a sea turtle. She swam from coral to coral and did not notice my presence. Turtles are very calm, if you do not touch them. I swam next to her doing a frame-by-frame. At some point a flock of small fish swept past us. It lasted just a couple of seconds. I managed to make only one photo.

Even though you had just one chance, you'd managed to make a masterpiece!

Thank you!

Wow! That is a stunning shot. Thank you so much for sharing with everyone. Tomas

Hudge photography Narchuk. Congratulations.

The Two Pagodas in Guilin

The Guilin area is famous for its Karst Landscape with the funny looking hills all over the place. You find the Longji Rice Terraces in the north and Yangshuo in the south. We had a wonderful time exploring this area. One of the main attractions in the city are the two Pagodas, which are lid at night.

Adjacent to the Sulu Sea in the Philippines lies Danjugan Island. Excellent conservation management has allowed this island to flourish with beautiful birds and abundant marine life. It is one of the best kept secrets in the Philippines.

My post

This was taken on November 29th ,2017 at the Shiga-Highland, Nagano prefecture , Japan which is registered into UNESCO ECO-PARK.
Here I’ve visited many times in different seasons in a year to work on landscape photography .
As I was at here , it was so windy and very cold out there in -10 degree .
But I was very impressed that I was able to see this stunning view in front of my eyes.

Thank you for your entry and your participation. What a great image. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming later on today. Tomas

Mother Nature has blessed my home state Kerala, India also know as 'Gods own Country' with lush green everywhere. This is a very typical scene back in my hometown. I will take every opportunity I get to show how beautiful my country is. India known to most foreigners as a country of busy roads, poor , cows walking on the road. But I would love to show a different side. Kerala is one of the best tourist destinations in the World

A view on the Himalayas, the gigantic snowcapped mountains rising behind the hills. They look close but that's only an illusion. They are still far out of town, just enough to get a wonderful scenery when you are standing on Pokhara's roofs.

Location: Pokhara, Nepal.

Stunning image. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming later on today. Tomas

We visited Harbin in Northern China and it was the coldest experience we ever had. Temperatures every day would be -20 degrees and by night can be -30 degrees. I guess which is why they are famous for their annual Ice Sculpture Festival - just check how great these ice sculpture look. It was a memorable trip but I'm not sure if I want to go there again because it is just too cold!

The traditional roofs of China have a characteristic style. All the roofs in the Forbidden City (Beijing) are built in this style, which can be seen in this photo. The extremities of the roofs have small sculptures of mythological figures.

A Small, old but Beautiful Village house.

This kind of architecture is kind of traditional in Nepal. Although its(house in the picture) is a little small, this type of architecture has still been adopted over the country. It could be hard to see in cities, however, I captured this from a village inside Kathmandu.

It would be cool to modernize those houses with the current tiny houses. I would be modern rural living. outfit them with the ability to be a secure block chain interface to vote, petition, survey, and bank in a stable, secure, and decentralized way. It could give the people a way to rise up and vastly improve their political and financial self determination and housing security with new ultra efficient tiny homes.

Nyatapola Temple

nattopot.jpg
Nyatapola is a pagoda styled five roofed Hindu temple located in Bhaktapur Nepal. Though temples in Nepal are in Pagoda style, this is one of the temples that are still in existence today, which was built in 1702 A.D. under the rule of King Bhupatindra Malla and this beautifully sculptured building is considered one of the tallest pagodas in the country.

This photo shows the Kuang Si waterfall near Luang Prabang in Laos. This is a very popular place. People go there to swim in the various pools and it can get quite crowded. But early in the morning when there are not so many people around yet is the best time to visit.

Nice photo! This one brings me back to the place :) I want to visit it again!

Tea Plantation in Cameron Highlands, Malaysia

This photo of a tea plantation in the Malaysian Cameron Highlands for some reason always reminds me of a Christmas tree. The Cameron Highlands are an amazing destination; I spent a few days exploring giant tea plantations and hiking in misty forests.

Nice photo, I came across coffee plantation once, it looks exactly similar to it.

Hmm, the coffee plantation I visited in Colombia looked a bit different I think, but both are beautifully green :)

Beautiful shot! I loved Cameron Highlands too! I got four seasons in a day there =)

Here’s my entry for Asian Sunday:

I captured this beautiful moment of sunrise at Angkor Wat, Cambodia. This temple complex is the largest religious monument in the world, built by a Khmer King. As a symbol and prime attraction of Cambodia, Angkor Wat is printed on the national flag.

After a hectic day exploring the streets of Hong Kong, we decided to escape the hustle and bustle of the buzzing city by visiting the Nan Lian Garden located in Diamond Hill. A spot of peacefulness in the midst of the skyscrapers.

Khao Sok National Park is in Thailand. The park is the largest area of virgin forest in southern Thailand and is a remnant of rain forest which is older and more diverse than the Amazon rain forest. It is amazing to see crystal clear water and lots fish under water.

This shot was taken on New Year's Eve 2017 at Had Nang Ram beach in Sattahip, Thailand. The beach is inside military land, meaning it is very well kept and clean. I have visited this beach several times and it always presents me with beautiful scenes to end wonderful days.

On September2017, I was traveling to Chandrapur city in Maharashtra, India for a project. I was on train and about o reach at destination I saw two chimney filling white smoke in the environment near by. Later I came to know that this was a cement plant.Actually Chandrapur is know for minerals like limestone and zinc which is essential ingredient for cement. And we all know cement is the thing which holds bricks together to construct a building.

A lousy dusk in Delhi. I have taken this picture while I was crossing bridge by city bus. Indian flag is visible far behind and at the right sun is setting behind trees. Traffic in one lane was so slow that it took 15 minutes to cross a traffic signal.

Cambodian Woman

While searching for a place to rest at Angor Wat, my eyes come across a local woman, carrying a fair weight on her shoulders.. quite literally.
I was not only amazed by the heavy work involved in many professions, but mostly by the acceptance and the level of happiness of the locals as they carried on with their daily duties.. Simplicity is the key and this country has thought me to appreciate what's been given to me.

Thanks for viewing,

David

Last year we went to Bintan, Indonesia. Watching the sun go down from our villa was like being in paradise, you could see the fisherman going out to see what their nets caught them that day. With just the sounds of the rain forest in the background it was so beautiful. Taken on my Nikon FM2.2017-09-14-0027.jpg

I took this photo while Kayaking off the coast of Railay island in southern Thailand. The triangle shaped rock jetting out of the water looked surreal and almost too perfect as if someone cut the rock to make it look like that.

In Nagasaki, Japan there is not only a museum of nuclear tragedy of the past, but a lot of small bridges. They are constructed in different styles and look very pretty. In the far some mountains are visible and the whole view creates a harmonic picture.

This is a picture I took in Hiroshima Shukkeien Garden in Hiroshima prefecture. The name of the garden can be translated into English as-shrunken-scenery garden. This picture represents Japan to me. If you are traveling across Japan, I recommend you to visit this place, I know I will if I ever return to the country.

Cambodia, part of the Angkor Wat temple complex. The temple seems to be part of nature and it's hard to believe that people had built it. This is a grandiose and incredible in its scale construction.

What an incredible shot! I love how the layers of rice terraces in the foreground look like the layers of the hills in the distance. You can tell from the photo that everything there was rich in color and that can be very hard to get in a photograph.

I'm interested to know, is it a single shot or many shots pieced together to get the best of each element in the photo?

Amazing I really loving this type of post

There are several Senmaida rice terraces in Japan with other famous examples being Shiroyone Senmaida in Wajima on the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa Prefecture, Kamogawa Oyama Senmaida in Kamogawa, Chiba Prefecture, Hamanoura Senmaida in Saga Prefecture which runs down to the sea and Kanzaiko Tanada in Kochi, Shikoku. @czechglobalhosts
