Hello fellow steemians!
Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - African Wednesday- where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 150 SBD! Today you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to a continent of Africa.

Your entries need to be submitted by the midnight of Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only one picture to be submitted for a daily photo challenge. The rule number one is to use only personal images. Ten winning photos will receive an upvote from me from which I will pick one winner that will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts.
The winner of daily challenge then competes against winners from other continental challenges of the respective week to receive the price of 15 SBD. That will be decided by you based on the dollar value of upvotes of my winning post announcement. The winning weekly picture then automatically enters other rounds for the price of 150 SBD in total.
Please see the winner of Asian Sunday, Australian Monday and Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans to give them your support if you like their image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #6 - winner announcement!
@jon24jon24 Asian Sunday entry:
Cordillera Mountain Ranges
This photo was taken at highest peak of Mount Pulag which is the second highest mountain peak in the Philippines. We had to hike for 3 hours before getting to the campground and we had to take another 2 hours hike from the campground to the peak. It was raining throughout our hike so it wasn't pleasant as we wanted it to be but in the end, it was worth to see the beautiful sunset. We could see the Cordillera mountain ranges along with the golden clouds lying around the valleys.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Australian Monday week #6 – winner announcement!
@betterthanhome Australian Monday entry:
This shot was taken on our first Australia Trip back in 2013. It shows the "Three Sisters" in the Blue Mountains National Park which is about 2 hours drive from Sydney. The Blue Mountains are the perfect location for hiking.
@schmidthappens Antarctica and world's oceans entry:
This is a favorite photo of mine I've always wanted to post somewhere and this challenge is the perfect place for it! This is a photo of the Baltic Sea taken in 2009. I was aboard an overnight ferry connecting Stockholm to Tallinn, Estonia. Nothing really compares to an overnight ferry, a great way to travel. This was sunrise before docking in Tallinn. I think I love this photo because I have such wonderful memories of the trip!

Marrakesh’s medina in Morocco is such a fun place to hang out at night. There are plenty of restaurants around the medina to choose from and you can walk around after dinner and get a henna tattoo, play games and even check out a few snake charmers.
Thank you so much for entering the challenge. What a great entry. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement. Tomas
Zanzibar, an island off the coast of and part of Tanzania, is one of my favorite locations I've visited in Africa. There are so many beautiful, colorful boats, many waiting for the tide to come back in like these. The natural beauty of the island along with the historic Stone Town make it a great destination in East Africa.
Thank you so much for sharing. Great pic!
Game Of Thrones Set
This is the famous port in Essaouira, Morocco, where the Game of Thrones was shot. An old man was disrupted by the scavenging seagulls of the port, which made a beautiful shot of my Morocco travels.
Thank you, what a great image to enter the competition! Thank you for sharing. Stay tuned for the winner announcement.
Inspired by all these epic landscape photos, here is a golden hour shot I took while running on a Stellenbosch Farm in South Africa. I am very privileged to basically have this beautiful route in my back yard. #fieldsofgold
Hi Jaco, can you please make the entry 30 to 50 words to comply with the requirements. It is an amazing picture! Thanks ever so much. Tomas
Hi, amazing image that I would easily pick as the winner today. However, it does not fulfill the basic requirment of the challenge - 30 words minimum description.
Sorry, was forced offline for a while, I've updated the description.
