WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged and/or reported to @steemcleaners - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT

Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @ohicklin:

A visit to Prague back in 2015 turned out to be a grand and pleasant surprise.
The city far exceeded my expectations, and I was happy to see the abundance of life and culture throughout the area.
These street musicians we happened by on a hill near St. Vitus Cathedral and Prague Castle added to a joyous day with the best of friends. No doubt we will return!

Charles Bridge, Prague

I headed to the bridge just as the sun came up, when I knew it was likely to be empty. In the early hours of morning, with the tourists and hawkers still asleep, the bridge is a different place. It’s a place out of time, and as I walked the bridge, looking for the perfect shot, I could hear Prague’s saints and martyrs whispering from a not very distant place. In this ancient city where the past is always close at hand, they seem to want to tell their stories. You only have to stop and listen.

Those saints just whispered to me that your entry should get featured today:).....

Close-up of a stone statue of a girl looking at the White Tower - the main tower of the White Chateau, one of the chateaus of the Hradec nad Moravici Chateau Complex. Located just outside the Silesian city of Opava, the Hradec nad Moravici Chateau is considered one of the most beautiful chateaus in the Czech Republic. I took the photo yesterday, exclusively for Steemit :)

This is one of the statues on Karlûv Most (Charles Bridge) in Prague. The Charles Bridge is a historic bridge that crosses the Vltava river. The bridge is decorated with a lot of statues, most of them baroque-style, and all of them replicas (the originals are from 1700).

This statue of a lion sits near the entrance to Prague Castle. It is one of many interesting sculptures and architectural features in the area of the castle and cathedral.
While this is not my favorite photo from Prague something about this figure intrigues me.

University chapels, detail, Ovocný trh, Praha 1, Staré Město

Prague is an old university city. Charles IV. founded the Prague University in 1348.
For its needs he bought several houses in the Old Town. These were gradually merged, edited ...
This chapel was built in 1370.

A signpost Four Lords is a place very close to the spring of the Labe river and also to the Hotel Labská bouda. Its also close to the Czech-Polish borders, so if you have your ID or passport with you 😊 you can visit Poland. It’s a beautiful part of Krkonoše mountains which I strongly recommend to visit.
Ahoj!

This is the other side view of the Valtice castle. Standing downwards towards the conference; this amazing shot was taken. The other side is the where the wine salon is situated. Kindly pass by anytime you make it to Czech republic

On this photo you can see Praga Regina Musicae tapestry (Cyril Bouda, 1956) that is situated in the foyer of the Prague-based Hotel International. This tapestry, which pictures a view of Prague, has one unique detail. With a bit of concentration, it is possible to discern the former Stalin Monument at Letná in its centre. In Prague there existed altogether three tapestries on which the monument was depicted, but this is the only one where it has been preserved – it has simply been forgotten about.

Charming paved street to walk around. It does not seem to be on the main river tourist trail, it was lovely to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Nothing seems to have been changed in the area, not a lot of modern built.

The architecture of the building is beautiful. The artist in stones and works of art are beautiful.

It's a very short walk to the castle district or a bit more of Petrin.

PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC. I took this photo in "Letna-Park".
The Prague metronome is an artistic attraction. From this place you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city and take a walk through the park to the "Petrin Hill".

Already by the name of the Old Town Square you can understand that it is in the Old place. This is another place in Prague, which attracts all the tourists, as several interesting objects were concentrated here. So here you can have a good time sitting in a cafe. It should be noted that the prices here will be slightly higher, as in any popular tourist place. However, you can afford to drink a cup of aromatic coffee with a view of a beautiful square.

St. Nicholas Cathedral
This is a very beautiful church, it was a pity that they are renovating the ceiling so there is scaffolding taking up much of the viewing space. However, there is still plenty to see, there is a generous use of gold and this really makes the sculptures stand out.

Brno by night - The Moravian city of Brno is the second largest city in the Czech Republic. The picture was taken from the Spilberk Park where you can find the Spilberk Castle, a royal castle founded in the 13th century that later on was converted into a fortress and a prison.

Prague is a very nice place and I was fortunate enough to have done some sight seeing. Well my picture below is the prague old town square and just because it is old doesn't mean it isn'tstill a wonderful place.pBfLmMRAFvYX.jpg

Just like the image you submitted to my European Contest, kindly provide an ownership to your image from Prague as well. Thank you.

Gate to palace in Javornik, close to Polish border. This time was closed as I was too late, but it was bautiful night citylandscape anyway from this place. Photo taken in 2017.

This picture was taken from the charles bridge at prague republic czech. Just as the sun was setting my picture was taken. The lovely man playing the instrument is always there coz i have gone there other times and met him. Lots of other fun things to watch. Truely the sun setting means nothing in Prague.pBexskcaFVoC.jpg

Hi, kindly provide na ownership to this image since I have my doubts about its authenticity. Thank you so much for your cooperation. Tomas

Well if I'm being honest this is my elder brothers photo and i didn't see any wrong with that but it is from my family that i can assure you but i understand if you want me to stop participating

I really like how @ohicklin shot the picture in black and white with an almost hazy background. It has a 1930's vibe.

I am glad you like it. Sometimes you just come across these great situations for photos.
Thanks!

I've already planned to go to Czech republic this year although thanks for this informations :)
