WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT

Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great weekend! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @nissla:

When we arrived in Prague and walked through the city for the first time everything was dark and foggy. It was almost like in a vampire movie to walk across the Charles Bridge with its beautiful statues and i will never forget the silent and mystic atmosphere when the Lesser Town Bridge Tower slowly revealed its beauty through the fog.

This is just another beautiful street in Prague. I love the architecture in Prague, it is a mix of European architecture from the past centuries and merges into beautiful buildings all over the city.

This beautiful image will make a great entrance for today's edition of Prague/Czech Republic photo sharing challenge. Tomas

Wenceslas Square is like the Times Square in NY but more beautiful. ♥
Václavák is a major commercial intersection of the city which runs from the National Museum to the old town. It is a very popular tourist attraction so expect crowd.

My favorite spot for swan watching under the Vysehrad Railway Bridge. The birds are so used to the presence of people they can be almost fed from hand. You can see the ducks are not that bold yet, checking the situation from safe distance :) Image taken on a grey rainy day in November 2015.

We used to go there to feed them as little kids with our grandma:)... Brings back some great memories:)....

Once the winter theme has gone. And besides, the oliopiad began.
Tomas, you recently wrote about the Prague Marathon. Are ski competitions also regularly held? I absolutely came across these photos today. Skiers in the background of the Cathedral of St. Witt. For us it was an unusual sight. Especially on the approach, where you could see a man in skiing right on the pavement!)

Oh, well, that times comes once in a while as the competition is getting bigger..... That is a good sign of the platform growing and getting more serious though which is a good thing. Tomas

A postcard-like overview of the historical city center of Prague. This is one of my favourite viewpoints of the city. The clouds and the colors of the sun coming through further enhance the great views.

That sure is a postcard view!

For today entry I have prepared Medieval fortified settlement that is located near Chrastava in Czech Republic. The project is an attempt to build a free replica of the 12th-century country mansion. The main purpose of the project is to popularize history and to present the results of historical science research to normal people.

This is castle Sychrov. A few kilometers from Liberec. A great place for weddings. My best friend had a wedding there last year and it was amazing. I took this picture on my cycling trip from Turnov.

Dancing House
I just love the nickname of the Dancing House, Fred and Ginger. I actually prefer the old buildings in Prague, but this very modern architecture stands out from the others and looks rather nice.

Today ı took this photo for you guys.

Prague's Old Town Square is the oldest and most active spot in Prague, covering an area of 1.7 hectares. Located between Celetna and Staromestske namesti, the square is at the top of our list of places to visit in Prague. This gothic, Renaissance, baroque and neoclassical place is visited by tourists as well as the places to see and see, as well as human traffic and various shows that do not end day and night.

Thanks for this post. I hope you will share your photos with us. Have a good day.

Great pic! Your description is little mixed up though as the image featured is a Charles Bridge. Tomas

I've been to Prague twice in my life, but I'll go back for sure. I would like to show you my favourite photo from there. I was walking on the streets, very tired, already checked out from the hotel, with my heavy bag on my shoulders, but I kept watching the old beautiful buildings. I was wondering about freedom when I saw this figure "holding" the building on his shoulders too seemingly not having problem with his task to do.

That is a great close up!

thank you :)

I went to Prague a few years ago. We had a nice walk around the Castle and enjoyed our time. One of my favorite attraktions of the city was definetely the Charles Bridge, it's reeeally impressive.
Need to come back soon! :)

Have a look at Velka Amerika, a partly flooded, abandoned limestone quarry. I have visited it with friends on the way to the Karlštejn castle (about 30 km away from Prague).
Maybe you can notice some cars on the pic, this area is not accessible for the public - a movie was being filmed that day.

Great place for a day trip!

I will also contribute with my photo of Tyn Church. The temple is situated a short walk from the Old Town Square. The photo was taken during sunrise, when there were few people on the square._M4A3297a.jpg

Welcome to Steemit! Yo have made quite an entrance with this beautiful image! I hope to see more from you. Tomas

Photo of a promenade along de Vltava River at Prague. At the background of the image there is National Theater, at the left there is an island with a classic construction.

@czechglobalhosts Thanks for hosting this contest. Many beautiful places in other countries are revealed. @nissa Your photo look magnificent.

The Loreta Square

The Loreta Square is a charming place, not too far from the Prague Castle. There you can find the Loreta Church, which was built in the XVII century. The tower has a carillon that plays a famous song, every hour, from 9 in the morning to 6 in the afternoon.

One of the things that I loved the most about Czech Republic was its architectural works, among them I had the opportunity to take a picture of it, which looks very simple and at the same time so beautiful, in the travel group I went with, they They also thought that this was one of their favorites.

Enjoyment have no bounds, either with out means.

The place at night really is inviting for its beauty is such a mystery.

hope to visit this beautiful country in the future, for now looking forward to some exquisite entries...

I would like to contrast @nissla's mystic Prague, (which I upvoted for its beauty) with the architectural crispness of a rainy day.

Picture taken in main hall of Troja Castle. The main hall’s ceiling and walls are covered by frescoes with the theme of Apotheosis victory over Turks near Vienna, and also celebrating the Habsburgs. According the story it took 7 years for artist to complete the work. The frescoes were painted by Dutch painters Abraham and Izak Godin.

This amazing piece of architecture is located in Valtice, south Moravia. It is called Reistna (Kolonada Reistna), that is all I know about it but still it is really breathtaking. Valtice is really beautiful city with a lot of interesting places to go, so you should definitely visit Valtice.

This beautiful piece can be found in the capital city of the Czech republic - Prague. I have seen in when I was visiting Prague in 2011. It is definitely not the only piece of sculpture you can find here, but it is definitely one of the most beautiful ones. Just look and see for yourself, but it is much better in person!

My wonderful Prague. Picture taken by night. ;) I visit Prague several times a year because I have many good friends there. Every visit includes an evening walk along the Vltava river. It offers the wonderful backdrop for fantastic photos!

Thank you very much for the hint. I have revised the post. Best, Tobias

The Basilica of St. George is located right next to St. Vitus Cathedral and could go unnoticed to some people. I love the strong colours it was painted and how the spirals look like they belong to a completely different building, but that is because they were added to the church later to its construction.

In Prague, it is simply impossible to pass the Old Town Square, because it is the very center of the Czech capital. Moreover, the center is not just geographical, but historical. In the middle of the 13th century it began to be actively built up - and now it is surrounded by houses-testimonies of several centuries. And representatives of different architectural styles - Gothic, Baroque, Renaissance.
This is the most picturesque house, painted on the theme of biblical and mythological subjects. It's called "The minute".
