Powder Tower of Prague. It is one of the most impressive Gothic monuments in Prague. Built in 1475, the Powder Tower is the monumental gateway to the Old Town that used to be the coronation processions of the kings of Bohemia. It owes its name to the fact that it served a long time as a deposit of gunpowder. It is still today the starting point of the Royal Way which crosses the Old City to go up to the Castle.

Tyn Church from the Old Town Square, one of the most typical pictures from Prague. But notice the house before the Church. House At the Stone Bell stood here at the beginning of the 14th century. It was probably the seat of King John of Luxembourg, because Prague Castle was then disintegrated and uninhabitable. This house is still Gothic. The remaining two retained only Gothic ground. The other floors are already renaissance. And the roofs are more or less baroque.

The Basilica of St Peter and St Paul is a neo-Gothic church in Vyšehrad fortress in Prague, Czech Republic. Founded in 1070-1080 by the Czech King Vratislav II, the Romanesque basilica suffered a fire in the year 1249 and has been rebuilt in Gothic and later in neo-Gothic style. The basilica features an impressive stone mosaic above its entry, and its twin 58 m towers.

One of the five ponds of the Radun Wetlands, a protected natural area that features a very unique and fragile ecosystem that is home to numerous animal and plants species. The ponds are literally brimming with all forms of aquatic life. They provide habitat for frogs, salamanders, snakes, insects and even some rare bird species including the nightingale and the reed warbler.

Lom Homolák Lake, Bathing Area. Awesome place with blue lagoon. We walk about 1 km along the way to the quarry. There are more, some for the first time like us and the others are making sure we're going well. The first visual view from a height on the water surface in the grip of the rocks is great.

Photos from the Střelecký ostrov towards the waterfront are dozens on the Internet. I wanted to avoid the classical view, and so I found a group of rocks in the foreground. Absolutely, I did not expect myself personally to be the object of the photos of the tourists who were passing by and saw me sitting on the bank of the river with a camera meter from the shore.
