Cesky Krumlov. Just lovely especially in night, great for a couple of days with a few really nice restaurants and coffee shops. The castle and garden were unique and beautiful and other than that just dandering around and exploring is with the river always giving a lovely view. Just what you need for a relaxing weekend break.

Wonderful view from Charles Bridge. It is certainly one of the most interesting bridges worldwide. Ancient, with historical significance and magnificent views of the Vltava and Prague's Little Venice. Unfortunately, it was overrun by tourists and artists during the day. An evening or morning visit would be advisable.

Cesky Krumlov. A beautiful second town in terms of a tourist attraction in the Czech Republic after Prague. It takes two to three days for a total sightseeing tour, close to everything, virtually the center of the city is surrounded by the Vltava River on all sides. Above the city is the mighty Horní Hrad - the Upper Castle, which offers a beautiful panorama of the city.

Lednice Chateau is the jewel in the crown of the Lednice-Valtice Complex and, at the same time, one of the most beautiful complexes in the English Neo-Gothic style in the whole of Europe. Several tour routes lead through the chateau interior, from representative halls, to the princely apartments, rooms of the small princes and princesses and the Puppet Museum.

St. Nicholas Church. I am not the most religious person in the world but I do enjoy looking round churches and cathedrals. This particular church, a short walk from Charles Bridge, is very ornate inside and pleasing to look at. The frescoes are amazing and the golden statues and other relics are so beautiful. The altar and large chandelier, in particular, are superb.

The monastery is one of the oldest in the Czech Republic. Twenty-five years from now will mark the ninth anniversary. The building complex was rebuilt several times after fire and attacks. Now the monastery looks very elegant and beautiful.

Today I had a little time and now you are looking at mirroring the town of Pisek in the Otava River. If you look closely, there is a power plant (light green building) on the left edge of the picture, built by the famous Czech technician and inventor František Křižík.

If Prague had a heart it would beat in Old Town Square. Walking on it's cobblestone path transports you back to medieval Europe. the Square is surrounded in colorful Gothic mater pieces with the Our Lady Before Tyn Church as it's centerpiece.

In Central Europe is usual to have street markets for the time of Easter. The photo shows a kiosk in a Easter Market at Old Town Square. At the background of the image you can see the magnificent Gothic towers of Church of Our Lady before Týn.

Front view of the Church of Ascension of Virgin Mary in Straznice, a little but very beautiful town found in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. The church was built in 1747 and it is one of the dominant architectural landmarks of the town.
