Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @krakonos:
I know I repeat myself. But this sunset over Hradcany came me very beautiful ... Every Tuesday I go almost the same route at almost the same time. But every time I see another scene. I did not hold back and I photographed it and shared it with others.
I rewarded @krakonos entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.
Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!
Please feel free to check out some of my other recent posts.

Is not that the most beautiful pharmacy building you have ever seen? :) Well, it surely is to me. This majestic building can be found on the Olomoucka Street in the city of Opava. The pharmacy is a part of the complex of the Silesian Hospital.
Hvezda in Broumovskie Steny, very cool place, personbally sadly for me to many ppl, but place it's still "must see" when You're in suroundigs. :) Photo was made in summer year ago, and by phone. Hope you like it. Greetings!
Charles Bridge
It's such a beautiful historical place with an incredible view. I enjoyed the ambience of the place a lot despite the massive crowd. During my last visit I went early in the morning and it was worth it as I was able to feel and see the face of the bridge without so many disturbance.
Cesky Krumlov
Here you can wander through the narrow streets, going to the shops, shops, restaurants, cellars and invisible from the corners of the whole day. And even two, so that at least a part of this wonderful city can be seen and understood!
rdinary baroque house on Úvoz Street. Of course I was interested in the color of autumn ... By the way, in this house is the museum and gallery of one of the best Czech photographers Josef Sudek. He lost his right hand in the First World War. His photographs are incomparably better than mine.
Historic Center of Cesky Krumlov
One of the nicest and most characteristic historical centers I've seen in recent years. Thanks to the booking of a hotel near the center, we were able to fully enjoy the historic center, both in the evening and early morning, during our three-day visit to this town. Sooner or later I will return, fabulous atmosphere, in its narrow streets, good restaurants and a great tourist office, where I could book the bus back to Prague.
Sedlec Ossuary
Very interesting place to visit. I had wanted to visit this site for many years yet upon finally reaching the destination, I found it quite eerie and not exactly a great time. I shouldn't have expected as much but it is really more of a somber environment where one goes to contemplate.
Prague Castle is a MUST visit place when you are in Prague. Walking around the castle, admire the architecture, and feel the official office of the President of the Czech Republic is something that you need to be astonished!
Prague Castle was most likely founded in around 880 by Prince Bořivoj of the Premyslid Dynasty (Přemyslovci). According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Prague Castle is the largest coherent castle complex in the world, with an area of almost 70,000 m². A UNESCO World Heritage site, it consists of a large-scale composition of palaces and ecclesiastical buildings of various architectural styles, from the remains of Romanesque-style buildings from the 10th century through Gothic modifications of the 14th century.
St. Vitus Cathedral
This place is awesome both on the outside and inside. It is a must to see and well worth paying to see all around the cathedral. The stain glass windows are amazing and the details of marble carving displayed at various chapels is fantastic. It is worth renting an audio guide because it explains what all the chapels and antiquities are all about as well as all the other places to visit around the castle.
Lom velka amerika
The quarry is worth seeing and remembered for youth.
But warning of the risks to many is not enough. Just from a distance, we could see down the road to the Rescue Lake, and with it a black car - probably a funeral service. The candles above are in vain reminders of the victims of the quarry.
I love my work because I get to places of interest at a time when most tourists are still asleep. Perhaps as in the vicinity of the Petřín lookout tower, where it is impossible after ten o'clock in the morning to photograph objects without people. Today I have a mirror maze for you, which is adjacent to the Petřín lookout tower.
Thank you for your appreciation.
Big Vibrant place shows the culture and architecture
Very lovely to be able walking around on the true heart of Prague beat, Old Town Square! You could see many things, such as the elegant tower of the Town Hall with the world famous astronomical clock, the proud silhouette of the fairytale Týn Cathedral, the monumental Church of St. Nicholas and countless multicoloured houses of many styles lend this place a unique atmosphere, which will captivate all those who decide to take a look at its charm.
This magnificent Old Town Square, it was founded in the 12th century and has been witness to many historical events. In addition to the Old Town Hall and the Church of Our Lady before Týn, the square is dominated by the Baroque Church of St Nicholas, the Rococo Kinský Palace, the Gothic House at the Stone Bell and the monument to Jan Hus. In the pavement of the square are memorial stones marking the execution of 27 Czech lords in 1621, and the Prague meridian.
Feel the vibrant culture from Prague, walk around, sit down while sipping your cup of coffee and feel the astonishing architecture. Lovely place to visit!
