Today I had a business trip to Kutno - one of Poland's small cities. The number of its inhabitants is around 43.000, so it's not much. Although I wouldn't be able to live in such place in the long run, because of the lack of attractions I got used to have in Warsaw, I found Kutno to be a charming city.
In the warm part of the year most of small Polish cities are abundant in flowers. Local governments care a lot about the greenery here.
Kutno is located in the Central Poland, in Łódź Voivodeship. It's quite old, because its history began in the middle of the 12th century. It was a village in that time. Its foundation as a town took place in 1386. Today it's not too important, but till the end of 1980s it was one of several centres of electronic industry in Poland.
As many Polish cities, even the large ones, it has a negative natural growth. Few years ago the number of its inhabitants was 45.000, and now it's only 43.000.
Are small cities in your country also as full of greenery as Kutno? :)
Yay! 🤗
