Norway a place to enjoy life

#1 The arrival 🚗

When we were thinking of where to go in summer we spontaneously decided to go to Norway. We had no idea what to expect of this trip. The whole planning was so clueless. It was summer so we did not even think about thick jackets or else. A big mistake! It was end of July and the temperature on our whole trip was never more than 15 degrees. We bought a throw tent for just 15 Euro at a discounter, put some food and clothes in the car and startet from vienna.
With a stop in Berlin at the first day and next day in Aarhus (Denmark) we arrived on the third day. We took the ferry from Hirtshals (Denmark) to Kristiansand (Norway). The first impression was disappointing. The city was the opposite of beautiful. So we left and just a view minutes later we saw Norway from it´s beautiful side:

We also hat no credit card with us, so we decided to ask the navigation system to bring us to a bank or an ATM. We found a small city on the sea. Beautiful. We spend the whole day there! Sadly I forgot the name... Maybe someone recognise it from the pictures 😃

We left the city in the late afternoon to find a sleeping spot for the first night in norway. Not far away we found a nice spot😴😴. It was the first time sleeping in a tent. Awesome experience to wake up with such a wonderful view !😁
