Steeeeeemians how ya doin?!
I have made it to Japan! After a long flight, long lines and a daunting journey to the hotel I am absolutely exhausted. After a quick bowl of ramen and a Lawson's run my friends and I are back in our rooms - or should I say pods....
That's right, my friends and I are staying in a pod hotel for a night in Tokyo. I was instantly fascinated with the concept when I heard about it years ago and have always had the plan to give it a try. Now as a cost effective and convenient option my friends and I get to experience everything these pods have to offer.

So far the service and facilities have been great. Definitely unorthodox but quite useful for travellers who just need somewhere to crash for the night and could use a hot shower and wifi in the morning. You do not get the privacy you do with your own room but for the price I just can not complain.
All in all I would recommend staying in a pod hotel at least once if you are going to Japan. The experience and business model is quite unique and shows a lot of character. Everything serves a purpose so that you are clean, well rested and ready to go the next morning. The only thing that could get annoying is sharing you sleeping area with a dozen other pods. Each of which could have someone making noise inside. This has not been a problem yet however it seems like you're rolling the dice when you stay in a pod.
Anyways I could go on about the pods and my first day in Japan forever. Instead though I'm going to get some rest in preparation for tomorrow!
Thanks to anyone who read or supported me in any way!
If anyone has any suggestions of what to do in Japan (Tokyo mostly) please leave a comment!
Also if anyone in Japan would wanna meet up and geek out about Steemit and such just let me know!
Have a great day!
