SOLITUDE IN BAGUIO

in #travel7 years ago

Hey there! This would be my very first travel blog so please bear with me.

My very first travel blog would be BAGUIO! Since it was my first time travelling alone and it's soooooooo far away from home. I really love my country and it has a lot to offer. So here's my story why I, out of any other places in the Philippines, am in Baguio, ALONE. I was undergoing a Training/Workshop for my work and was really excited about it. My work seems to give a fair chance to anyone who is willing and confident to undergo and to uplift their employees. So, I grabbed it!

Even though I was attending something for work, I made sure I enjoyed my moments there. I went to almost half or half of their famous places in there. Now, when I hear the word Baguio from someone else, I feel excited to share my experience because it was very unforgettable. Let me show you my photos/experiences that I really could not forget :

Going to Baguio was a really exhausting trip but once you've arrived? you can never complain because it's a beautiful place. How did i get there?

Plane ride from Cebu to Manila 1hr, Taxi ride to Victory Liner Bus from NAIA Airport 15-30 mins, Bus ride from Manila to Baguio with 3 bus stops 5-7hrs (whooo! my butt) and there! I arrived in Baguio.

It was really cold when i was there and it was October. The coldest i experienced was 15 degrees. You know how cold that is when you're not used to that? When you wake up your mouth shivers and as you shower, the more you shiver. As the water touches your skin, burr it's freezing cold!

However, the coldness did not stop me from travelling and experiencing things on my own.

They say STRAWBERRIES in Baguio are the best. Even though I dislike eating strawberries or anything that has a strawberry flavor (it really tastes like a medicine for me), I really tried it though. From the fruit to Taho or Soy. And you know what? I liked it. HAHAHAHA

I made friends during the training so I had companion during my travelling. In case I get lost, It's not only me. LOL.

As I was growing up, I keep hearing stories of my grandfather (mom's side), that he loved horses and that he had some on his own. From then on, I had interests on horses but it was never obvious since I live in a city there's not much horses walking around. But in Baguio?! There are lots walking around and have PINK hair! and i get to ride one.

Also, I love plants and flowers but I started loving them already when just recently. When I really cared much on how to grow them and what i saw in there fascinated me

very bright and colorful beautiful flowers. There's more to that i'm sure.

This blog is not just about sharing my experience in Baguio and how i am fascinated with the little things i saw or ate but this is to show a quarter, no not quarter, sixteenth, not even that, the very bit part of the Philippines. I saw how great GOD loved our country and how beautiful he has made everything that we need to be stewards of everything he did and it's all just for us.

It is really the beauty of something no matter how tiny or small if it's God's, it's really of something with a value.
