About 1.5 km from the village of Peredovoy, Samara region, in a wheat field, in July 2016 a karst dip was formed. The diameter of the funnel is about 50 meters, depth - 5-7 meters. According to environmentalists, groundwater flowing under the field eroded the rocks and formed karst voids. Cracks are visible on the ground around the dip. It is possible that the funnel may still increase in size. Techniques that harvest in the field have to go around a hole a few meters from the edge of the cliff. Not far from the crater, several similar failures have already been noticed, but not of such a scale. Next to the open field there are holes of similar diameter and depth. But they are already overgrown with oaks and pines. Because of these failures, ufologists were interested in the area at one time
