Yes I was talking about hotels and even rental houses.
I've never been to Bangkok or Singapore. But I heard Thailand is very cheap, so I am suprised. I guess I shouldn't believe everything I hear :)

yes, Thailand is cheap. very cheap.
but rooms in Bangkok weren't cheap. not when i visited.
there were nice rooms of course, but they were way out of my reach.
