My photos from the tallest mountain on earth..

in #travel7 years ago

These photos are all my own, taken with a Nikon D7000. Thank you for taking the time to enjoy my memories;)

This is the view from the summit of Mauna Kea, the tallest mountain(measured from the bottom of the ocean). At 13803 feet, this view is breathtaking, literally and figuratively.

This is one of the best places on the planet for star gazing because of its location in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and very small amount of light pollution.

Awesome.... I work for the company that developed the filtered LED specifically for Hawaii. We recently gathered great data on Waikoloa Village that sits to the West of the mountain. Here are the before and after images.Mauna Kea.JPG

Oooo, an observatory on a mountain in the middle of the ocean! That has to be star city at night!

Its a spiritual type of place because of its sense of seclusion @myroadtours . definitely recommended

The best place to see stars on plant earth! nice shots dude
