Hometown beauty — travel with me around Dalian — Xinghai Square

in #travel7 years ago

Dear friends, last time I introduced the Navy square to you , today I want to introduce you another huge and grand Square— Dalian Xinghai Square. It is currently not just in Asia but also the world's largest city square. Dalian Xinghai Square built in 1997, covers an area of 1.1 million square meters, which is to meet the return of Hongkong.

From the center of the square central road to the north about 500 meters is the Dalian Convention and Exhibition Center, to the south 500 meters is the blue sea. The Central Avenue is covered by red brick with green grass on both sides. It is really graceful and make you open-minded.

There are many sports sculptures around the square. There are sailing, gymnastics, table tennis, diving and so on about 19 species . This one I took was skiing, was it exhilarating and energetic?

Now in front of us is the Dalian hundred years Chengdiao. The city is composed of two parts, the front part is footmark emboss, the back part is a square like an opening book shape.

Footprint emboss is stepped out by 1000 people, these footprints from north to south, leading to the sea, they are ordered according to age. In the first row of them is 1899, the birth of the city of Dalian. The last line was born in 1999. The thousand footprint symbolizes the creation of a hundred year history of Dalian by the labouring people.

Looking from the desktop to the sea at the square, you can see the newly built Xinghaiwan crossing sea bridge. The magnificent momentum reminds me of a poem by Chairman Mao, a bridge across the north and south, natural moat change thoroughfare. The bay bridge is indeed the true portrayal, shortens the distance to the high-tech park.

The Dalian Shell Museum is located in the southeast of Xinghai Square. It is the largest Shell Museum in Asia. There are more than 5000 kinds of sea rare seashells from all over the world. They will be on display here. It is the largest museum of seashells in the world. The biggest shell weight of up to hundreds of kilos, the small one may only be seen by a magnifying glass. The price of the tickets is 100 yuan for one adult .

Dear friends, the introduction of Xinghai Square stops here , and I still feel my words are difficult to express its vast and magnificent momentum, if you are interested, welcome you to come here to experience it in person ! I only just say I am proud of my city , I hope it will become better and better . Thank you very much for your reading, and I hope you will support me all the time !
