Anyway, I cannot promise you surfing but in Albania you probably have the cheapest European country on the Mediterranean sea, together with good food, friendly people and cheap prices. I have been in more than 50 countries, including 90% of countries in europe and all south america except argentina. Friendly people in Albania? I have read the opposite...haha anyways thanks for the advice dude but country isnt in my plans. I am checking your post btw
Well the fact is that outside Albania a lot of them, not to stereotype or generalize, end up in crime but the country itself is very safe! About surfing anyway, I read that Western Sahara should have nice beaches and it's not touristy at all if you're into travelling in Africa.
