Hello steemians, how are you doing, it's been a while since I posted guitar lessons. I really apologize for that. The steemit world is an amazing world that everyone should experience, a place where your passion, vision even leisure events can be turn to earnings. Although when I was introduced to this wonderful platform I taught it was just another social media, but on the contrary even though it looked like a social media, I will say it is the best platforms where the times being wasted on social media can be used productively and still having the feelings you are on a social media.
However, as sweet, fantastic and rewarding the steemit world might seem, there are still distractions emanating from our real world that competes hard with it. Although it is a fact that some personality are very lazy, but aside laziness there are so many other important things that can not be left unattended. Those are the set of people I channel this write-up to.
A very big kudo to all very active steemians despite the very busy outside world, and yet are able to balance these two different worlds together. It feels so cumbersome for me many times maybe because am involved in many thing. So many times I wish I could be given more than 24hr in contrast to what everyone else has.

For instance, last week was one of those weeks I wish I had more than 24hrs or the night should not come at all, because I had a lot of songs to score, I had a lot of lessons to compile and yet I had to attend a wedding ceremony of my brother in which I played the role of groom’s man at Ibadan.
Let me just give you a summary of how the wedding went. I woke up early in the morning on Thursday at around 6am and head to the park to board a Lagos vehicle, I was able to get one around 7am, we took off. I would have loved to neglect the stuff that happened in the bus, but it is actually worth sharing.

As we started the journey, in the bus with me was a university lecturer who is a professor, also one guy who happens to be a police man and the third one is a business man. There are other passengers on board but these three were the active passengers on board.
The police guy was a big time talkative, and he was so anxious to engage anybody ready to flow with him in talking. He first got the professor talking, the man was careless enough to divulge all his achievements and even stuffs yet to be achieved but the man also interviewed the police guy, at least that was how I got to know he was a police and also an Edo guy, the professor was an hausa man, but soon he got tired of the discussion and ended it, then this police guy tried engaging me in discussion I gave no reasonable response because I hate getting into unprofitable discussions, so he left me and engaged the business man
Oh my God!!! The business man was worse than the so called talkative police man. At a point the policeman could not just stand the rate at which he talks, he start responding with sighs alone, he said everything about his life, family, future and so many thing. He was so lousy as he bragged about travelling every part of the world and how they use to respect him in all embassies, he added that he is even on his way to embassy in Lagos for an interview. I kept wondering like who talks like this, the discussion was so pointless and uncalled for.
As we proceed on the smooth journey although disturbed by those uncultured passengers, we bumped into a gang of armed robbers. I have never experienced an armed robbery scene in my entire life and I am so happy I still did not witness it. It was a passenger that noticed something strange, he passed a comment that why was it that no other vehicle was coming through? That was when the driver guessed what might be going on, but we later saw their blockades in the front. The way the driver turned back you would think we were featured in a fast and furious movie. As we drove back every other vehicle started turning back.
Fortunately for us there was Lagos state police commissioner in a police station not far away from the scene of the robbery, therefore he sent a troop of policemen, they collected vehicles from drivers that were stopped in a long que and went to the place the robbery was taking place and they were able to disengage the robbers. So we went on with the journey and at the same time I was very grateful to God for the journey mercy.
This past week event has kept me out of steemit for a while now, but now I am back to work, I will try my best to always balance the outside world and the steemit world, steemit is a very beautiful world, I love it in here. There are more gist in stalk, for me to share in my next posts before I resume completely to our regular guitar lectures.

Great lessons here. Balancing you activities is very hard especially when steemit is among them. One really requires, a proper time management and schedule or things may go out of line. Thank you for the info. Hope you enjoyed your brother's wedding.

Welldone bro, terrific post, balancing ones activities is vital
Very important to learn how to manage one's time especially channeling it to profitable ventures, when activities are balanced in proportion you tend to get outstanding results.
Thank God for the journey mercies.
He only is to be praised!! Thanks @heeyahnuh
It'd not easy balancing for real.
Outside steemit is really hard for me, I'm always in class and when out of class I'm on the field, no time to sit and think.
Nice post👍👍
Thank you @ delani, it is indeed difficult sometimes, but all that can be done is to ensure no time is wasted outside steemit. #wink

is the moral of the story that police helped? this story happened to you and there was a foreigner who was too talkative and loud and crazy and not personal and relevant and applicable enough?
Well, people like you cannot but surface sometimes, since it happened to you, you can do well to give a detailed and better account of the occurence. The moral lesson was not aimed at promoting the policemen, but that was what actually happened, are you now suggesting that i face them out of the story? And the picture of a talkative foreigner as you said was sourced meaning it was not for me. Thanks for the criticism. You are very welcomed
Do you not want to face them?
