It is incredible to read your story, the history of food with insects, the way you describe it and the touch of humor in your photos, in my country we have a rich variety to enjoy as they are:
Maguey worms. Viscous but tasty!
Jumiles. Larger than an ant, but smaller than a grasshopper.
Cuchamá A very nutritious worm.
Chapulines The most famous bugs in Mexico!
Escamoles The Mexican caviar
You can enjoy all of them in the state of Oaxaca Mexico
