Somehow the Canadian Rockies are still fairly unknown. People flock to the Grand Canyon or Yosemite to see spectacular scenery and connect with nature. It took me living in Vancouver, British Columbia to even hear about the Rockies and then finally visit them (just an 8 hour drive).
Let's just say you will not be disappointed. I've hiked across the world, yet I still say the Rockies are my favorite place. Plus, you don't have to hike much to see incredible scenery. I have a previous steemit post describing the perfect 5 day itinerary so take a look if you are ready to visit after this gallery.
Also, I am doing 30 posts in the next 30 days so please follow along and let's get to know each other!
