7 Places in just One Day? Let's go!
.
.
Going South! CAVITE. TAGAYTAY. BATANGAS. We left Manila at 3am and reached our first destination just before sunrise (around 5:15am) :)
Our first stop - TAAL CHURCH.
Taal Basilica or simply Taal Church, is known as the 'biggest church in the Philippines and in Asia!'
It is 96 meters long, 45 meters wide, and 96 meters tall. Popular for its facade and interiors. It has astounding ceilings and domes!
Next stop, FANTASY WORLD.
The 'abandoned' castle.
The Unfinished Disneyland of the Philippines.
Located in Lemery, Batangas. This theme park has really captured the eyes of many. It was constructed by a Japanese business man as an amusement park like Disneyland, but unable to finish due to financial problems.
This park is open to public with an entrance fee of PHP 1,000 - which is already good for 10 people. You will still pay the same amount if you go alone! (so better tag your friends along!)
If you're someone who loves picture taking, this place is just perfect for your pictorials!
Third stop, SONYA'S SECRET GARDEN.
Really enjoyed our time walking around this beautiful garden! It was so relaxing to see so much greenery and flowers! More than just a garden, you can also book for accomodation here!
Fourth, GINGERBREAD HOUSE.
Located in Alfonso, Cavite. A cafe with a fairytale setting!
Like Hansel and Gretel, lets get lost in this place full of colors and sweets! This cafe is open from 8am-6pm.
Fifth, CALERUEGA CHURCH.
Closer to nature, closer to God. Also known as Transfiguration Chapel. This church which is surrounded with bunch of trees and other attractions (hanging bridge, koi ponds, garden cafe etc) can be found in Nasugbu, Batangas. Perfect place for weddings and retreats!
Sixth. PINK SISTERS CONVENT
It's also one of the many and famous churches in Tagaytay. Known for the nuns here are all dressed in pink.
Seventh, MAHOGANY MARKET
I think this is my fave part :D The food!! (Its been a long day!) Enjoyed bulalo with the cool weather of Tagaytay! What a perfect match! (forgot to take a picture, I was so hungry hehe)
