Wherever I go I always go back to You: The Mahang-it Island of Lingig Surigao del Sur

Beaches are one of the tourist spot in the Philippines, this is where most of us Filipinos goes whenever we are already full of how fast cities run the lives of so many people. It is such a beautiful place to stay, the sound of the waves the smell of the sea and of course the fresh sea foods that we can eat form there. Who wouldn't love staying near the ocean,right? Im lucky enough to see the wonders of the sea, to see the riches and ocean can offer to us. Wherever life brings me, my heart will always bring me back to my favorite place. Where I can think, where I find peace and where my family lives.

Our home is just ten steps away from the sea,and when I was younger im lucky enough to swim everyday. I can just simply run,even if mother sometimes forbid me to go to. How can I resist the sea,it seems like its calling me. And I always love the feeling when the sea touches my skin. Not so far from where we live there are a lot of beautiful islands not so familiar with so many people. In Lingig Surigao del Sur,where I live,there we can find the Mahang-it island. Pride of Lingiganons. From Lingig to Mahang-it island you reach it by boat for about 1 hour. Before you reach it you can also see the neighbouring islands who are also has their own unique beauty that will simply make you stay for a while.

We often go there whenever we some time,the perfect view of the island is just right for me to at least leave my worries behind whenever Im there. From a distance before reaching the island you can see how perfect the view, the shape of this island will make you think what lies behind that island. And just when we arrive the white sand seems like smiling and there just simply there lying beneath our feet waiting for us to arrive. The big rocks are beautiful too,it has a lot of shapes that could make anyone imagine all forms. This is just perfect not only for swimming but for resting. You can also take pictures of you and your family with an instant beautiful back ground.

And while taking pictures and resting my Tatay will go back to the sea and just throw his net to catch come fish for us to eat. Just enough for us. This is what i love about this island,the trees are healthy,there are a lot of coconuts sorrounding the island. And you don't have to bring a lot of food with you once you visit this island,fish net is more than enough. We can eat fresh fish,that our Tatay catches while we're there. I have seen a lot of islands and been to too many beaches,but nothing compares to my favorite island,the Mahang-it island. Every now and then whenever i go home,i always visit this island. There are a lot reason why i keep coming back,this will forever be my favorite place. This is where i always finds peace.
