Goodbye 2017! Hello 2018!

in #travel7 years ago

The year 2017 was just amazing!

Not just because I was surrounded by the people I love but also because I travelled like never before. I took 10 different trips around Europe and Southeast Asia in one year, but more about that in another post. Maybe it doesn't sound a lot but let me remind you that I am currently an undergraduate student and I paid everything by myself. I don't have a sugar daddy or a family that spoils me, I pay everything with money that I earn by work work work work and work. And because I was really good this December I saved some money to make solid plans for 2018. Let's take a look.

Amsterdam, Netherlands (18. - 21. January)

Venice, Italy (24. February)

Berlin, Germany (10. - 14. March)

Philippines (6. April - 15. May)

Spain (July, August, September)

France (Winter 2018)?

Purpose of Amsterdam trip was visiting two of my good friends from Slovenia who are currently living there. Since I have been in Venice sightseeing many times I will visit it this time for its well-known club scene. It is relatively close to my home and why not to drive there to visit one of the best clubs they have! For Berlin, I don't really have an explanation why am I going, but it's automatically on the list every half year. I visited it already 7 times and I have one of my best friends living there. Ohh and I forgot to tell you, it's my soul city. The Philippines are this year my top destination in Southeast Asia to explore and enjoy beautiful beaches, nature and culture. 4 years ago after my first travel to Thailand, I decided to go one time per year to a country outside Europe, far away (probably Asia because it's nice to my budget). After passing all exams in June I can't wait to move to Spain for 3-4 months and work there as a student intern. Since I will have to work there it is not going to be usual travel trip, but I am going to be free on the weekends so there is plenty time to discover the Canary Islands. This France thing it's still in the air and I can't tell you a lot about it, but the plan is to move there for the winter season and find an internship as a young graduate.
The plan is not finished yet and I am 100% sure that I will add some weekend break trips between but for now, this is what it looks like.

Till next time,
Anuša
