The Ranikot Fort or Dewar-e-Sindh (Great Wall of Sindh) is the largest fort to yet to be explored. With a circumference of 26 Kilometres, this fort is the largest un-explored fort of the world. It has been on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 1993. It is located in the Kirthar Range about 30 kilometres south-west of Sann in Jamshoro, Sindh, Pakistan.

This talismanic wonder is visible from five kilo-metres away. Its undulating walls twist and dip over the hills. Built with dressed sandstone, it contains 45 bastions along its outer wall of which 7 are rectangular and the remaining 38 round. All walls and bastions have been modified through the ages to accomodate the use of gun-powder. Thus, this is the largest fort which has not been explored yet.

The main purpose of the Ranikot Fort and its architect are unknown. Some architects attribute it to the Arabs or the Persian Noble, Imran bin Musa (836 A.D).
