Symbol of Moscow - Red Square
It is not as great as it seems in the photo, video. But it's big enough to see everything. Previously, the area was called Fire - this is due to the fact that there were a lot of wood built here. Now the main stones.
The length of the square is 330 meters.
On the square there are two beautiful buildings - the Historical Museum, and the Cathedral of the Intercession on the Ditch
In the Old Russian language and in modern words - red means something good, important or, as V.I. Dahl "about kindness, beauty: beautiful, beautiful, excellent, best."

Nice pictures ! I love the symbol of USA on your T-shirt, displayed on one of the most beautifull places of Russia. It makes me think that the vast majority of people in the world just appreciate each other, like to travel, visit foreign countries, meet other cultures and learn from them.
