In the western part of the island of Cyprus there is the picturesque Avakas Gorge.
The length of the path to the gorge is about a kilometer, the route is not difficult and suitable for a leisurely walk in nature.
Many different trees, bushes and flowers grow around the trail.
Curious animals.

In some places the gorge is rather narrow ...
... but very beautiful.
At the exit from the gorge there is a view of the high cliffs.
But it's time to come back ...

wow, great gorge. it's simila to the great zion nationalpark in utah USA. You can also walk for hours. on the let a wall, on the right a wall. only a small way in the middle and something you have tho walk/to cross through the river, often till the knees. Amazing stuff.
