Mont de Saint_Michel is located on a small rocky island, in a estuary of the river Couesno, in the region of Normandy, a world heritage site worth seeing since 1979, when the tide of the estuary rises is an island, when low is a zone of Marshes. I built an abbey in the 10th century, walled to protect against the Viking raids.
