The twist of INDIA

The moment i say india people think about a lot things like colourful,crowded,joyful,peacful,mystic and several other things.Yes you are right my dear steemit friends India is a diverse nation with similarities in differences. People speak different languages in different parts and there are several religions in one country.Some readers could have travelled to India already and could have enjoyed the country's unique features from food to scenic places.In a worst case people could have had bad experiences too for which i am sorry, you should know that there are few irressonbile people everywhere in the world who cause trouble all the time.I am going share my favourite places and food in south india ,hope you guys like it.

Since India is a large country you could see a lot of difference from north to south India.This part of india includes states like tamilnadu,andhra pradesh,karnataka,puducherry,kerala.There are a lot of places to see like historic temples or beautiful scenic places and you would also love the different varaities of food .Let me list out someplaces for you guys to visit in tamilnadu and food available in each city.

Brihadesswarar Temple

This is a 11th century hindu temple built for Lord shiva by the king Raja Raja chola 1 and the temple turned out 1000 years old.The temple is so big and has great art work and sculptures .The temple has a lot of special features like the tower of the temple was built by a single massive stone and the belief is that the shadow of the temple's tower never falls on the ground.The temple has a whole is built with 60,000 tons of granite.The temple is where you can see lot of artwork of cholas.

Food:
tanjore is a place famous for food like thavala adai ,fluffy idilis served with tasty sambar and coconut chutney and non veg items are mostly sea foods because of the coastal loaction of the city.The fish coated with coconut milk is very famous.

Meenakshi amman temple

This is one of the famous temples just like brihadesswarar temple but not as old .The temple has a lot of mentioning in the historical tamil scripts and the temple is dedicated to parvarthi and her consert lord shiva .The temple was built by Viswanatha Nayak.The temple has a golden lotus in a pond in the center of the temple and the temple is situated near the banks of river vaigai.

Food:
Madurai is famous for a lot of food like kari dosa ,which is a dish with mutton pieces on dosa (a earlier twisty version of pizza styled doza),the city is also famous for parathas you can find them in even small shops .The important dessert of the city is called jigarthanda its a dessert made from several ingredients like sea grass and other secret ingredients.

Marina beach

The marina beach is in chennai the capital city of tamilnadu its one of the second largest beach of asia and to be frank its quite out of maintanence but you could visit other clean beaches in the city like bessy beach.There are a lot small food shops near the beach where could get a snack and eat it while enjoying the sea breeze in your face.

Pondicherrry

This is a city say a union territory and mostly included while talking about tamilnadu.The city still has a lot of influences of the french since it was a french colony before freedom.The city still get visited by a lot of french people and the city is mostly influenced in french style take it from building styles to the cuisine.The city has wonderful scenic beaches with lot of adventure sport activities in the sea.The city has a lot of famous french restaurants run by the french people who settled here in the city.

Ooty
The state of tamilnadu is quite always warm and humid and people look out for cold places so ooty is great option for people to hang out during summers .During the rule of british Ooty acted as the second capital for the south of tamilnadu during summer because they could handle the heat in chennai(madras).The city is hillstation present near to coimbatore.The city is connected to coimbatore by a vintage style Steam train which was laid by the british and this ride could be like travelling through time.
