Travel: Silanguin Cove, Zambales, Philippines

in #travel6 years ago

If you will have the chance to visit Philippines, make sure you have to experience firsthand its natural beauty. Philippines is an archipelago with more than 7000 islands which give way to a lot of untouched beaches.

Zambales is one of the provinces which offers a lot of beach destinations. I've been to few of them and I can assure you that these places will bring out the naturalist within you.

This time, I had a visit in Silanguin Cove, one of the beaches located in San Antonio, Zambales. Actually, I'd been to its neighboring coves, Anawangin, Talisayen and Nagsasa. And with this recent trip, it makes my San Antonio Coves goals complete.

This is the view in Silanguin Cove early in the morning.

We enjoyed snorkeling and I caught these babies. I badly wanted to take them home but I know I shouldn't. Don't worry, I released them back to the sea before returning to the main land.

When the sun is scorchingly hot, we decided to wander off and explore the place since we cannot yet swim. We had found a place that leads to the other side of the cove. And along the way, we saw a strait (am I right? The body of water that connects the sea and a river). If we only followed the direction of the river, we will end up at the falls in the mountain. But we were so lazy to do it.
