Aah Barcelona! I was living there for a couple of months. I just love this city! :) If you have time, i highly advise you to visit the El Born district! It is a heaven for handcraft lovers and awesome food! :)
I was living near Para-lel and loved the vibe there. It is still local and you can still find some unique catalan bars with great Cava :)...and dont forget to party! Barcelona without partying is like milk without cookies ;) Enjoy the heart of Catalunya!
Haha great advice @adamicelli! I have been all over the town already and i have friends flying in tomorow! Cant wait. I love the art here ( i was/am/is/ and art student) so i love anywhere that dares to challange and define like here. Life is love is art is fun :) live it and enjoy :)
So Barcelona is definitely the place for you! Have you been at El Carmel? An old bunker at the outskirt of Barcelona, where you can see the whole city. If you are into weed, check out the Choko club http://marijuanagames.org/review-of-choko-cannabis-club-in-barcelona/ . It is a combination of an art gallery and smoking club. It is near of the Picasso museum.
The best thing is just to wander around and discover secret corners, because this city has so much to offer and to see. if you want to connect with other art students from Barcelona i recommend you to go to IED Barcelona, an design school and wander through the streets there, you will see a lot of artsy places.
