Well, some of you can say "Did you lose your mind?" for this post but chill. There are people who loves cold weather and also people who didn't even face with snow in their lifes. So I'm adding this place to list as well. For people who doesn't know anything about Yakutsk let me say like that ; the coldest city in the world...
First of all winter in Yakutsk lasts from October to May.
The average temperature in January is around -41°C in July 19°C so the ideal time to visit (unless you're traveling here purposely to experience the extreme cold) is from June to August.
January -40.9°C
February -35.9°C
March -21.6°C
April -6.1°C
May 6.7°C
June 15.4°C
July 18.7°C
August 14.9°C
September 5.7°C
October -8.5°C
November -29.2°C
December -38.8°C
The lowest temperature recorded in Yakutsk is −71,2 °C (Oymyakon). It's not the world's record itself as a lowest temperature because of the North Pole but this is the record for the coldest city living on earth. And also if you stop your car for more than 30 minutes in winter, you can use your car in the summer. Feel free.
Here you are seeing a kid is eating ice cream at -46 °C. They're accepting -45°C as a normal so do they calculate ice cream as a hot food? Plus if it's not under -52°C the government is not giving a holiday for students. Very interesting isn't it ?
Also in the winter the city sees the sun for 3 hours a day so this explains us why is it ultimate cold out there.
And lastly about food, you've already guessed right:)
Nice Place. Would love to visit
Yes, but only in summer :))
