Hi Steemit Friends, hope you are doing good today!
Today I am going to share my travel experience in George Town, Malaysia.
It was month of May last year when I visited with my colleagues, we were wondering & exploring beautiful city George Town. Our next destination was to visit Penang Hill, as we had heard lot about it. It was hardly 15-20 mins drive to Penang. We were very excited to be there & experience natural beauty. Cool place to chill around with family or friends. Relax and unwind from busy town of Penang.
Tourists with different nationality were there along with us, mainly Chinese & Thai. We interacted with few of them during queue of funicular train, it was warm feeling to exchange few thoughts.
The funicular train to the top is great fun, if you can get in the front carriage. It's quite worth the wait for the train to go up the hill since you can have good view of the whole city, especially George Town. It took around 20 minutes to reach at top of hill.
We all were already ready with Cameras to capture each n every moment there.
At the top the views are stunning. The hill got a good view or scenery of the Penang Island. It's cold in it's peak with a breeze of cold air.
Few clicks from different angles as we move ahead on hill.
There are restaurants and exhibits but we didn't bother with those as just walking around taking in the views was enough but people we spoke to said they had very enjoyable meals.
That's me at one of famous restaurant there
We then visited to Owl museum, which was supposed to be for children, still it's nice to be child sometimes to enjoy fullest !
Some of my friends taking closer look of city, as if they finding our hotel or restaurant for for next party :) :)
While exploring place found few unrecognized flowers/plants, however were really pretty.
And here comes world direction indicator to interesting places in the world. I have added all of them to my future travel destinations !!
We were fascinated with the colourful Sri Aruloli Thirumurugan, or better known as the Penang Hill Hindu Temple , which stared off as a small shrine devoted to the lord Murugan and also happen to be one of the oldest Hindu temples in Penang.
There were lots of enjoyable & funny moments while covering locations on hill, few of our random clicks
And with this our 4 hrs heavenly journey completed. Hope you enjoyed my short tour of Penang Hill, Malaysia. It was still a really nice evening. Great atmosphere, lovely scenery, and a memorable experience!
I appreciate your up-vote. And a follow if you liked it, leave a comment to let me know what you think!
