You Should not ask for FOLLOWERS here at steemit. Look for "how to comment on posts" for ideas. Just write a few sentences about what you see in the post and tell the person if you upvoted or resteemed or whatever. Then they might follow you anyway.
Aw! Hopefully we can stop but at least it looks better. I'm seeing some others do it too. I just downvoted a nasty one with my meager downvote. It was already a 3 so we're on the right track.
