I had a chance for a half-day visiting to Odaiba, Japan. It is about an hour train ride from Tokyo.
Although it is a man made island made of trash, its stunning scenery more than make up for its shortcoming. It is a very quiet and lovely city. Without knowing the origin of the island, one could never notice a difference.
Starting with the museum of future, it is not far from the train station. We can walk from the station to the museum.
Here is a picture in front of the building. We went there on Sunday, and ,luckily, there was no entrance fee.
The content of this museum is mainly about the history of earth. How earth occurs? How earth has change after billion years? Here is the atmosphere inside the building.
One of the attraction piece is the colorshifting, talking globe. There is a voice coming from the globe, giving the information about climate change.
Here is the panorama picture illustrating the history of earth.
The souvenir shop in the museum had many interesting thing such as the astronaut food above. The top one is a strawberry ice cream, and the bottom one is chocolate cake. Although the name is ice cream, the taste is not ice cream at all. It is like some kind of wafer.
After the museum, we walk to the mall along the river.
Here are some views
There was also an amazing talented skill performer showed on the walkway.
At the end of walkway, we could see the mini statue of liberty
and here is the last picture for today
The bridge near the train station. It is located in front of the Venus Fort
