Fort San Pedro
The well preserved fort is uniquely-shaped triangular, it is fringed by 14 cannons. Fort San Pedro takes pride for housing the first Spanish community in the Philippines. Fort San Pedro is the smallest and the oldest fort in the Philippines. Construction began in 1565 under the command of the Spanish colonizers.
Magellan's Cross
The iconic cross is the top tourist attraction of Cebu. The huge cross is encased inside a wooden cross and enshrined in a chapel. According to the inscription on the plaque, it is the original cross used by Ferdinand Magellan.
Santo Niño Church
Inside the Basilica Minore Del Santo Niño is the oldest image of Santo Niño (The Child Jesus) used for Cebu’s grandest festivity, the Sinulog Festival. Inside you’ll be surprised by its lavish interior. Artistic ceiling hemmed by religious murals and a beautiful courtyard.
Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral
Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral architecture is distinctive with baroque colonial churches in the country with squat, cruciform, and with thick walls to withstand typhoon and other natural catastrophes. The Cathedral was ruined by Allied bombings during World War II with only the belfry (built in 1835), the facade, and the walls as the remains of the church. In 1950s, the church was rebuilt
Heritage Monument
In Colon Street you’ll find The Heritage of Cebu Monument, a massive sculpture show the rich history of Cebu.
Yap Sandiego Ancestral House
One of the oldest houses in the Philippines. Built in the 17th century, the house has remained in its original state.This was the house of Don Juan Yap and Doña Maria Florido with their 3 children: Maria, Eleuterio and Consolacion.
Cebu Taoist Temple
The Taoist temple located in Beverly Hills Subdivision of Cebu City. Built by Cebu's substantial Chinese community in 1972. Elevation of 300 metres (980 ft) above sea level. The temple is the center of worship for Taoism, the religion which follows the teachings of the ancient Chinese philosopher, Lao Zi.
Temple of Leah
A truly mesmerizing work of art built as a symbol of one man’s undying love to his beloved wife. Built in 2012 by businessman Teodorico Adarna. This huge edifice has been appeasing its visitors with its eye-catching statues, elaborate architecture and sweeping panoramas of Cebu. Built in ancient Rome and Greek style.
Tops
It is about 30-40 minutes from the center of Cebu. When inside, you can see the wonderful view and the spectacular city lights of Cebu and Mactan.
