I totally agree with ai and cars. I don't see AI totally taking over driving either unless we make some really major advancement. Without general AI I'm not sure it will be able to handle all roads/conditions and I have major doubts we can achieve general AI.

I would watch some automated flying drones run through some races or even do a bit of battle. As for the human emotion and drama they would just use the teams that build it.
