We celebrated our third wedding anniversary this week, so went up to town for a treat.
We saw the Michael Jackson tribute show, Thriller Live (Mrs Davis's choice as you can imagine). Then we strolled through the West End avoiding the tourists and had a nice quiet coffee to debrief from the show.
We agreed that a) it was a funny kind of show anyway and b) probably past its best since the best casts have been and gone. But it made her happy and that's always the main thing isn't it? :)
We love sitting in coffee shops not saying much.
Then we searched for somewhere nearby for dinner and found The Diner on the edge of Covent Garden.
I had ribs (burp!) and Mrs D had the unusual choice of Vegan Benedict with a side of ham and sausage! That made our waitress laugh.
Nice to get out and chill.
It's not all fun and games though as we're now doing the familiar wait for a delayed train at Waterloo.
Congrats on the anniversary. Looks like a good night out. My other half loves a show. Hope your train comes soon
