Life in The Middle East. It's 8:04 and I'm about to leave home to work. Home is in Haifa, work is in Tel Aviv. At each point along the commute if I have internet access I'll document the experiance

My older brother told me I should sign up. He said, "Eyal, you gotta' check this out, this site is just the right outlet for you." He sees this because I write for a living. No, I ain't famous and no, you won't see my name on a book. But I've always dreamed of making a career out of writing. And with time and hard work I've climbed the ladder from copywriter to content manager to MARCOMM and Localization Manager. I manager 23 translators and have worked with the same team for 8 years. 1 translator per language, 23 languages, what a joy to work with colleagues who love the written word.

And so perhaps this site indeed is just the site to let me express whatever comes to mind. In English and in 23 languages. Because communication is key to bridging the world and I feel lucky to have a network comprised of 23 colleagues who love to do what we all do.

I grew up in L.A. but have been living in Israel for 8 years. I currently live in Haifa and after writing this sentence...and clicking "Post" I'll be on my way to work in Tel Aviv.... and document the trip. If you ask me why I don't have an answer except I'm new to Steemit and searching for my voice amongst so many voices with so many stories who are clear and concise and random and interesting and, well... if I can become one of those voices I would be thrilled.

I will be looking to see your posts love the ever expanding world of steem

From the moment I stepped out of the house in Haifa all the way to work in Tel Aviv I decided to document the experience with photos and used the camera in my phone to snap over 119 photos. I was hoping to be able to post them throughout the day but the day was so intense that only now - at 10:48 PM - I arrived back to Haifa and home. I won't post all the pictures but attempt to choose the specific shots which tell a story all on their own. I'm new to Steemit and trying to figure out how to upload photos. I'd appreciate your advice on the matter - would you help me tell this story? I'll give it a shot now but am hoping you see this message and respond in time; however, if it works out then I hope you experience the day I had and perhaps you can do the same? I don't know where you are but wherever it is, being able to experience your own day through a series of photos would be awesome. Imagine if we could get others to do the same and over time create a series of experiences all told from places all over the world. That would be fantastic, wouldn't it?
