Re ripple though - I dislike it, tbh :)

Unlike bitcoin/ethereum/monero/..., it isn't trustless. It's whatever ripple Corp decides it should be, and they can print as much of it as they want too ;). Also, one of the appeals about bitcoin was to 'be your own bank' ; with ripple it's back to a case of being controlled by banks/corporations/governments again!

And, I have traded it and held it from time to time (And sure, it might have some arbitrary value if loads of banks start using it even in a marginal way). But I never like doing so, and always want to get rid of it whenever I think about it more🤣
