Headed into week 1 of my 12 week trading challenge my goal is to focus on building better trading habits, staying motivated and consistent. Trading the forex market is 80% patience, 20% execution and staying consistently patient is a bigger challenge than I ever believed it would be lol it can get boring even to do the same thing consistently day by day when tracking progress, but the rewards are grand. If this makes me more aware and builds better mental and physical stamina it's worth a shot to transform into the type of trader I want to become.
If you're up for a challenge here's an example of what the next 12 weeks doc for me looks like, but this can look different for us all based on our different strategies in the market.
from my research) all the best traders had similar advice - 1. actively in the market every day (or your select trading days) regardless of being sick, hungover, or tired. 2. being consistent with your plan, do the same thing everyday to accurately doc your progress 3. get better rest 4. reflect, this could be backtesting and going over your work 5. recharge 6. eat healthy 7. and exercise
I'll be adding somethings to mine like reading, writing poetry, and staying motivated by staying creative
