Learning to trade any asset is an acquired skill. Anyone can learn to trade and make money but there is a learning curve. Trading well and making money requires you to learn and come up with a system that works for you. The other part is leaning to control your feelings and emotions and stick to your system and plan. This is the hardest part for a trader to learn in my opinion. It took me several years to be able to control my own emotions and let my system and trades work.

There are countless resources for free out there, you just have to find them and go at it. Learn as much as you possibly can and you will be on the way to become a trader. A good trader if you put your mind and time into it.
