Completely agree with you ..this is best time to buy steem..because after the launch of smt you won't get this chance again. Power up maximum as possible. I'm also thinking to sell my other crypto of steem because no other crypto gives opportunity to earn like steem did.

There's been a lot of steemiens who have debated when a good time to 'buy-in' would be. In my non-expert opinion, now would be the perfect time. We've reached a point where the market is testing support and it's stability at just below $2.0. Those who are hesitant thought it may be a perfect time to add to yours position. At least that’s what I do with overall crypto. Long ago I wanted to wait for a 'dip'. Well, the dip has come and it's been relatively stable since then. With the volume still high it could be any day that the price breaks out again.
We're definitely seeing price stability, and if history is any indication, we could spend a few months on low volume down here. It will all depend on buyers' patience and sellers' willingness to take a hit.

Definitely agree! I am adding to steem position and immediately powering up on a weekly basis until I get up to Dolphin status. So, the more I can buy at these levels, the quicker I can get there! Given the recent noise in traditional social media (Facebook data use), I see more interest in alternatives. This could be a catayst for the platform in the near future as people recognize the benefits of a decentralized approach and the fact of the opportunities available of earnings while engaging in a great community. Add to the fact that cryptocurrencies and their blockchain technology is attractive a lot of capital, this could be the beat time to accumulate Steem and SBD.
Attractive blockchain technology in the face of troubleing issues with traditional social media are two very good fundamental reasons why I'm confident accumulation will pay off long term too.
Totally agree with you, today's STEEM indicators are an ideal time for investments, because all promising investments are made precisely at a reduced rate and doing the analysis of the previous year, this moment is coming now. Many of us have long understood the benefits of the of STEEM blockchain with its best bandwidth and scalability compared to other crypto currencies, so the STEEM does not have a commission for transfers and the main advantage of the STEEM is that it has such a function as a social network, and this makes the STEEM more attractive for many of people. Yea but right now i think everyone is tired of buying the dip. Yes we want it cheaper but we've gotten enough and would love to see some bull soon to give us the winning spirit.
You're probably right, but if you were 100% cash right now (in your crypto portfolio), how would you feel about staying that way waiting for lower prices? It'd be tough not to start/continue buying, I would think. There's an old adage that says the first and last 1/8ths are the toughest . . .
Perfect time to buy Steem and Just be patient. Now that Bitcoin is in the mainstream eye, it will start to turn to others. Steemit is a first mover in the social media space, and that will naturally be getting attention. It is at discounted price and everyone should take advantage of it. If you believe in steemit buy Steem. It’s that simple. I joined a few months back because I was interested in how it all worked and I was surprised to find a great community of people. As mentioned elsewhere, adoption is key for growth, but to me accumulating and powering up is a no-brainer... More and more people are bound to be curious about this platform that one can even try for free and not know anything about crypto. We are the lucky once getting in so early. You're absolutely correct. Steem is much more than just a first mover in that it also has a great community already developed too. A first mover with a huge lead on any wannabe competitors!
I don't want to sound negative but I don't see a reason to buy from Technical Analysis point of view. We are under all MA's, BTC is under all MA's. Activity on the blockchain has dropped. SBD is "only" 1.75$ (which is still 75% higher than designed). I think one of the best trades can be to buy SBD from 1.10 - 1.30$ with a risk of 10-30% and rewards up to 1000%.
From Fundamental point of view this is a great entry point. If I wasnt a trader I would have been accumulating from 2.50$ all the way down. ( I don't recommend averaging down, this is very dangerous for your capital)

Agreed. It could go lower. And then again, it might not. But if you're accumulating, we're once again at fabulous prices, IMHO. And if it goes lower, even better!

Though it's understandable why people are scared, it's been low for too long and now with the restrictions by government and all that. But you're not gonna be successful without taking some calculated risks.

In my opinion, there is never a bad time to invest in STEEM. As those of us who are around a while know, more STEEM in your wallet as SP means higher voting power. This helps all who are upvoted by you.....
Even though who bought at $4 or $5 will be okay. We are going to see a day when the price of STEEM is far above this. SMTs, Communities, faster on board access, and overall revolutionary changes caused by the crypto market means we are going to see an explosion.
Today, tomorrow, 6 months from now...I dont know when but we will see STEEM take off....$100 will be hit at some point...most likely later in the year.

With each passing month and with each paycheck, I get to buy some more cheap crypto. Some say that they won't have any value, but I like to go against the wave. Who buys when everybody is buying and selling when everybody is selling, is probably the one to lose the most money, because that means buying high in the middle of the hype and selling low when there is a lot of FUD. Now I believe that it is still a good moment for crypto, because if I want Steem, I won't be paying 8 dollars for one coin, but at this price, it seems very good now. I am barely waiting for my next pay day :))
I've just realized that I've never seen Steem as a coin to invest in! I've got bags of all kinds of stupid alts, sometimes because of the potential, but sometimes just because the TA looks 'right'...
Steem has always been this things where I've only seen it as a game to get crypto rewards, but now... Steem's TA looks spectacularly right at the moment, I'm actually considering reducing the amount of different coins I have and focusing more on STEEM!

I also thinks the same because at the current price i won't get loss. Most of steem are in form of steem power its price can not dump instatnly if market crashes. This is definitely best time as everyone know that two months before steem was around 8 $ so i believe that it will definitely broke 8$ in next few month. Now the price of steem 1.80 $ so in comparison with highest price steem is great dip. I don't of fiat now but if i have money i definitely invest all in steem power. Thanks for TA sir. its is best time When Steem was first released, the price blew up from under a $1 to over $4 quickly making Steem the #3 value digital currency at the time. Investors were well aware of the value of Steem when it was released. Fortunately for those of us today having the chance to invest at $1 a year later when Steem actually is worth much more, so many mistakes happened with Steem that most traders will not touch it today without confirmation it is a better investment now which is keeping the price artificially low and begging for correction

Although am not an investment expert of any sort but I think it's quite logical to try and hoddle some crypto although that might have some short term effect on the crypto market. My advice is don't take from the system only find a way to invest in it and you can do this through your activities, time to promote and attract new investors and by organising steem based projects, could be just a mini school project. Ohhhh yeah! The times are in favor for long term investors, because everything is just sooo low... Seems like the twitter ban on ICO ads had quite an impact on the market, because everything is red. I only wish I had like 10k dollars right now so I could invest in STEEM and feast on massive profits in a year or two...

Do you believe they are at good prices now for investing or it is worth to wait a bit and see how it goes?
If my memory serves me right, STEEM was trading at about 8$ and SBD at 14$ last December and it is now at about 2$ for both. I think, because of the high inflation of SBD currently at about 10.5 M it may not be going back to that 14$ mark anytime soon unless SBD hits a market cap of about 150M. But I have high hopes for STEEM, with only an inflation rate of 9.5%, STEEM could actually climb back to, maybe even 10$ if it gets some media coverage. So the 2$ price point as of now would be a really good time to buy and HODL some STEEM!

ROI in few months of holding = 10 times.
Now again Steem drops & rise soon. Don't disappoint when it rise. Buy at the dip.
