I took this photo last June 6, 2017 during our family vacation.
The Mayon Volcano Shows Up At last
When She Was Still Covered By The Clouds
A bit of Philippine History:
This is the " MAYON VOLCANO " also called " MT. MAYON " known to have an almost perfect CONE even after it had erupted, and known as one of the active volcano in the Philippines, the last eruption was year 2014. This is found in the province of Albay in the Bicol Region. You can see in the right side is they call Cagsawa Ruins for that's whats left of the church after Mt. Mayon erupted many years back.
Going back to our family vacation, that picture was taken around 8 - 9 am since Mt. Mayon is kind of a bit shy when we went there the day before around 3 - 4 pm, it was covered with clouds and we end up just took a photo of the Cagsawa Ruins. And i quote my wife " We will not fly back home not until i have a photo of it. " She's not a well travelled person meaning she only sees this on postcards since her elementery years. So we agreed to go back and right when we stepped inside the gate, she was in AWE, she can't stop but take photos of it in every angle. She was very much amazed of the beautiful view. Though my two kids 9 and 7 years old still didn't very much appreciate the view but soon they will as they grow.
