- in a litlle village called Derweze, around 260 kilometers northern of capital city Ashgabat in Turkmenistan there is a crater that is "on fire" already around 40 years. As a part of Soviet union, this rich resource area, was an attraction for geolosis in a searh for natural resources.
One day, in a middle of drilling (and too much votka), geolosis accidentaly made a hole in a massive cave which was full of gas. Earth immediately broke down with gear in a crater which was 90 meters wide and 20 meters deep. They had to act fast to reduce gas emission, and they decided to burn it. They hoped that gas will burn in a few days, but gas never stoped burning...
