Last night news spread that Tom Petty had suffered a massive heart attack. This morning I read that it had been confirmed and the legend did indeed pass away at just 66 years old. His music takes me back to listening to him growing up, he's always been a mainstay for playlists and mix cds for long car trips.
My favorite song of his has to be by far You Don't know how it feels. Just a classic I can't help but shake my head too. I like to play it when I'm rolling and I'll be sure to roll another joint and play the radio loud just for him. Rest easy bud.
