Personally I love the Armorsmith. The Repair ability works perfectly in Life splinter especially with Paladin at the front.

Under Melee attack or Sneak attack ruleset, this guy and Divine Healer is a deadly combo keeping your Paladin alive. And at maxed level, he has 3 attacks at only 2 mana, incredibly strong. Hard to avoid using him whenever I choose the Life Splinter.

Armorsmith does indeed complement Life teams nicely, but my personal favorite is Corrupted Pegasus.

Death splinter is my favorite for collecting (at one time I tried to corner the market in gold alpha Zintars). I absolutely love that at level 3+, Corrupted Pegasus grants both Strengthen and Tank Heal. Death has been sorely in need of a healer for a long time, so with this card it should once again become a competitive splinter in higher leagues.

I haven't maxed my Corrupted Pegasus yet, but that's a good goal to work towards!

The pegasus in 2nd position with LOD as the tank is so tough. I'm yet to beat that combo.
So I agree, the Corrupted Pegasus will be a highly prized card.

Armorsmith is my new fav card for life splinter, it will keep on repairing broken armor, as long as he's alive lol

Like others said - Corrupted Pegasus is going to be a very tough rival to be beaten, especially this creature has tank heal + strengthen!

I found that LoD + CP is an uber combo and death has some heavy range hitters with poison and debuffs, there are quite a few hidden combo gems one can use.

Yup, she needs some love, maybe decrease the mana a little bit, or just add on a new cool ability on her...

Agreed... I don't use her often. But 4 magic is pretty high at max level.
Maybe dodge or 1 extra health.

I don't think you can make a 4 magic attack card 5 mana specially if it has stun. But then again Magi of Forrest has 4 magic and is only a 4 mana card ... but no abilities and even more health which it usually gets more of because of it being in GREEN splinter.

So yeah seems way underpowered by comparison. So i think dodge or 1 extra health. Not sure which of the new abilities would be fitting.

She (Dark enchantress) started being a 4 mana monster and was OP now with the nerf is almost useless, imo this card with 5 mana cost would be fine without more changes,a simple and effective change.

Topic: I think Cocatrice is the Most Annoying Card Playing Against...


Is there even a second place on this one? I don't even get as pissed as back when the death splinter poisoned you every time with their two manna cards, that I could handle because the whole freaking game was doing it and it was going to nerfed as a whole. But this damn card, I might play high dollar for a card that has the ability---Cocatrice Poison. It would have to be magic of course because melee or range would miss the first three rounds at least.

Lord A is definitely the most annoying card. I lose most matches against him since damage is reduced and magic just reflects back and kills me. I wonder what the best setup is if you anticipate the player using Lord A. Any way to beat him most of the time?

Yeah I agree.
Cocatrice has always been one of my fav cards, but when the legendary summoners were introduced - it became a nightmare to play against if it was summoned by Prince Rennyn, with the Earth slow cards added to the mix. It's either you have magic against it or you lose - it can't be hit otherwise.

I haven't leveled up this card and I have my doubts. Not a fan of high mana card and the Earth splinter already has the best tank in Flesh Golem.

It's a tough card to beat. Look at the abilities:

  1. Magic Reflect.
  2. Return Fire.
  3. Blast.

Combined with the Spirit Of The Forest, The Wood Nymph and cards with snipe and sneak abilities you can decimate the back rows of the opponents team. Not to mention the high powered melee attack.

Am I the only one that thinks that Kobold miner is OP ?
Well I can only speak about the mid level kobold miners, but at lvl 4-5 it's OP as hell
Only 2 Mana to get a card that has
2 Melee att (Malric inferno 1+ DMG)
2 Speed
4 Health

Topic: The Prince Rennyn Change Is Here: +1 Health Swapped For +1 Speed


The official announcement from @steemmonsters came today: Prince Rennyn is going to get a change!

We admit that we did not anticipate how strong his +2 Health buff would be, so as a result we will be updating the stats on the card from [+1 Ranged / +2 Health] to [+1 Ranged / +1 Health / +1 Speed]. The change is expected to go into effect on Wednesday, June 19th at approximately 11 AM ET / 3 PM UTC.

So the ultimate summoner is finally getting its long overdue nerf. That is, if you think that the change will actually be a nerf. The +1 speed sound pretty strong to me as well. However, I do believe this was a good change at first look, keeping a balance of usability and value. I expect the card to stay very popular and I am even more excited to get it now myself, as speed is something the Earth team can use very well with all its slow ranged attacks.

Yep nice work out of the SM team good call @flauwy. I wonder if we are going to go back to the days of the Spirit of the Forest being untouchable with that speed of 7? Oh well, I guess we have to find ways to adjust accordingly. At least the pile of health being thrown at the challenger of that summoner has a bit more of a shot with most of those green ranged cards being very slow.

I agree with you that it is not really a nerf, but rather an improvement for the earth splinter. In conjunction with the brownie, the ranged can attack even faster.
