Well its capitalism as long as those methods work, they will be applied, no matter how good or bad they are.

Why would you spend money and time minimising profits if you can just use bot and several accounts to spam everyone and even if one person rewards that, then you made profit without work at all which is ideal for capitalism.

Well sure later i hope everyone would not support spamers but then new ways would be found, instead of spaming people would start to pretend they like you and want to be friends but in the end why they joined this place? for friends? for money, instead of united community it ends up in a some popularity contest.
