Before I posted my first article I hopped around, reading posts with advice for newcomers, and I read lots of intro posts and the comments under them. The comments under intro posts, made by more experienced users are a trove of valuable advice!! I've tried very hard to follow the advice I've gathered, I even found a mentor. My following is growing slowly, but it is growing. I didn't really expect that after just two months! It really is true that working to become a part of the community is where the real value lies.
